What do you consider early riser?

on our 3 day cruise i was up at 5-5:30 everyday due to all the excitment. i hope to do the same on the 7 day in nov.

My sister and I have a kind of pact. We get up and walk deck 4 (at least a mile - most days more) before Topsiders opens! I don't want to waste my day just getting going! :sunny: And deck 4 is a nice way to start the day!

However, I must say, I seldom make the last show in the clubs at night :upsidedow ! I'm pooped out! But happily so! :jumping1:

btw, seriously started packing today! It's getting close now!:jumping1:

Since I'm the morning person in our duo, I usually wake up by 7 or 7:30 (no set time, though -- it's what I do on weekends at home). For a couple of mornings, I went on deck around that time and it was very peaceful and quiet. I did my deck 4 walk, then grabbed some juice and a banana, took my shoes off, propped up my feet, then snacked and read while watching the ocean pass by. It was pure heaven with the cooler temps in the AM!

DH did actually get up before me once on the last cruise -- he took some great shots of the ship inside and out while docking at Castaway Cay.

My DH was up most mornings between 4:00 and 4:30 am to run.

I was generally up around 7:00am.

Our son often slept until noon.

i always say i'm going to sleep later on our cruise but it never happens. i'm usually up and out by 6 or 6:30 and i take a walk around the ship or maybe do all my camcording and pictures. after the walk i grab some coffee and relax in the hot tub then head up to topsiders for a tray of fruit and maybe after lounging around on deck ten for awhile i'll go back to the room and find my crew still sleeping in. then i become sgt. carter, MOVE IT, MOVE IT, everybody up and out. there's fun to be had whether you like it or not. they like it after they finally regain conscienceness. whats a mother for?

.......just don't be knockin' at my door :duck:.

When we were having breakfast they kept making an announcement for 2 families to report to guest services. Everyone just looked at each other knowing that they needed to be cleared. They should have said "XXX & XXX get your butts down here so that we can get the ship cleared!"

DH was always up by 5 like at home and enjoyed walks on deck. He got some great pictures of the ship with noone around. I was usually up by 6/6:30 and the kids weren't far behind, if they hadn't been the ones to wake me up. We may be on vacation...but the kids don't change.
