What do you collect?

Decks of cards. I especially like the ones where every card is a different picture. We also collect refrigerator magnets. Can never have too many of those. DW collects Swarofski and music boxes.

We collect a lot of that at our house too!

I used to collect spoons from every place I visited while on our vacation but I got some many that I stopped and gave them all away one day.

I have a nativity snowglobe collection.

I have two regular size teapot collections, one of houses and the other seasonal (snowmen, Santa Claus, witch, etc.).

I also have a salt and pepper shaker collection the figurine kind (flowers, peppers, cows, etc.).

Now I don't actually collect these things as a rule, in fact, I haven't purchased a single snowglobe, teapot or salt and pepper shaker. They have all been given to me by different people for different occasions (birthday, Christmas, Secret Pal). How I have acquired them was by receiving one and then stating how much I liked them and the givers just kept giving. If I collected them on my own, I would have to have a room just for them. So, in reality, I don't actually have anything that I collect on my own. But I have been real tempted to start a egg shaped glass paperweight collection (the kind with flowers, swirls or just bubbles in them), just haven't given in yet.

I collect cows on parade figures and santa figures.

Barbie and some other dolls (400 and counting), miniatures, Basic Fun Keychains, Wee Bear Village Bears and Boyds Bears, Animation Art (WB and Disney).

I collect windchimes, snowglobes, magnets, and sea gull items. DH collects frogs. DS who is 23 collects John Deere tractor items. DD who is 27 and married collects fancy decorated eggs.

I collect..........postcards, magnets, souvenir teaspoons & matches, drink coasters & International Dolls.


DS 14 collects..........antique pencil sharpeners, hot wheels & matchbox cars, Titanic stuff & Star Trek stuff

DS13 collects......... antique pencil sharpeners, hot wheels & matchbox cars, Dalmatian stuff & Star Wars stuff

i also collect shot glasses.. have them all lined up agaist the wall. Buy one whenever i go out of town, and now that i think of it i dont have any from San Diego my own hometown!

I don't know if this would qualify as a "collection" but I save up all those pennies that have the wheat on the back. I don't know why, but there is something about those pennies that I just can't part with!

I collect: Harley Davidson stuff. I get a shirt from every place I go.
I also collect anything my son makes. We have a curio cabinet that is filled with things he has made. Better than any collectible I could buy!!

My mom collects anything and everything Snoopy. She also has a huge collection of Puffkins. She used to collect David Winter Cottages, but is trying to get rid of them now.

DD collects: Dale Earnhardt Jr. stuff, Jeff Hardy (wrestling) stuff, keychains and anything Tinkerbell.

Ds collects: anything and everything!

I've cut back on my collecting big time. But I still collect my old Nancy Drew and Terhune books and I'm always searching for a Depression glass pattern called Diana. They've become awfully hard to find.

I still have Beanie bears and other favorite beanies, a large collection of ghost books and some Star Wars stuff.
