Well, bit of a strange one, but the kids and I always buy that years Grammy Award Nominees CD!!

It started in '99 when we went for the first time and there was a CD player in the car and we had no CDs!! Ended up buying the Grammy one for that year and we played it non-stop, and it's become a tradition ever since. We have to buy it from the Virgin Megastore too!!

Yeah, I know, I'm odd! :)

Disney Animation Art :) We love visiting The Main Street Gallery in MK and buying some production art to add to our collection :)

I collect a few things. I always try to get a christmas decoration for our tree from our main holiday for the year with the date on it.

I also collect TV sreies that I like on DVD. I have every epesode of Friends on DVD and an collecting every episode of the x-files and Stargate SG1.

When I was younger I collected thimbles and crystals.

DDs are still adding to their collection of pressed pennies, but not with the same enthusiasm as when they started.

Eldest DD usually manages to find a new souvenir licence plate (from a shop, not pulled off a car! )

Youngest DD used to find a new pair of Minnie and Mickey dolls each trip, but I'm not sure whether she'll continue with that one.

DH always stocks up on fishing tackle.

I don't seem to have anything particular that I collect - must start next trip ;)

Hi,
I'm collecting the State Quarters. The last ones are not minted until 2008 so I've no option but to go back every year until then...:D

Mick.

We got addicted to the "Art Of Disney" On our last trip, we managed to buy 2 big figurines of Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse, Next Trip I want Winnie and another.

It's the only time, DP goes along with me, and when I get to the counter he's still with me ;) LOL.

Reading all your posts made me realise I collect alot more than i realised...;)
Yes I have the mickey car aerials , my fave being the american flag mickey !!

I always buy a few Mickey shaped soaps from the "Disney At Home" store in DVMP - I bought some gorgeous strawberry scented ones in December, and I always come away with other (more expensive!)purchases from that store (towels, candles etc.)

CDs are usually a regular purchase for me although I didn't buy one on the last visit.

I've also started to buy a Christmas Tree decoration every visit now.

Another store which had must buys for me was the Gourmet Pantry - which was sadly closed on our last visit in December.

Disney Village Marketplace stores are a MUST when we visit - I love it there!

....... ooh I must add that when we visited IOA in December, they had some wonderful Christmas things in the Port Of Entry Christmas Shoppe - bought some great Christmas Tree decs in there!

Christmas Decorations - my tree has only white decorations on it and has taken several years to get this theme established - still need a few more trips to Disney for more though!

What a fun thread! I collect everything that has to do with the Clue / Cluedo boardgame, movie, etc. I have hundreds of different items and enjoy the artwork of this wonderful game. To take a look at how the artwork of this game and its variations has changed over the last fifty or so years, please visit my website at www.TheArtofMurder.com

Nic collects the state quarters too.

Me, I collect nice shoes and handbags.

My mum collects those cow parade cows.

I collect Monopoly games and they are ALOT cheaper in the States than here. My wife Helen collects personalised Christmas decorations and my son Alex (11) has collected around 150 pins. My daughter Bethan (4) doesn't collect anything apart from increasing the number of times she can go into the pool.
We were thinking about collecting Disney art but we are quickly running out of wall space as we have our walls lined with framed lithographs from the Disney Store.:sunny: :bounce:

Michael what a fascinating collection you have :) Being a big fan of the Haunted Mansion (the RIDE not the movie!) I wondered if the Disney's Haunted Mansion Clue Game which you bought in 2002 is still available, in that form or in a new form?
