What do you clean your tile grout with?

My grout in the bathrooms is off white (well, it was) and nothing seems to get the gray out. I have tried lots of stuff including cleaners from tile companies, but nothing really does it. Anybody got a suggestion?

Bleach and/or Lysol Tub & Tile. A Magic Eraser works well, too.

If bleach doesn't work, it's probably too far gone.

Do you use the Clorox full strength?

I used this on my friend's bathroom and I will probably use it on my mom's as well, now that we have tile in there.

I get oxiclean and I make a paste of it and spread it on the grout and let it sit for about half an hour, then I scrub it off and rinse it. His grout was nearly black (supposed to be off-white), and two applications got it back to its original color.

I use the grout attachment on my White Wing steam cleaner. I have tile throughout my house and it looks new after cleaning with the White Wing.

I also did my whole kitchen floor with the oxiclean paste. The tile had been in about 10 years and came out looking great. It took me several weeks to do the whole floor.

I use Vim with bleach and an old toothbrush

I use Krud Kutter to clean just about everything and I swear it's the best cleaner on the market. I cleaned the grout on my kitchen floor with it and the whole floor looks brand new. It wasn't a "spray and wipe" job -- I actually did get down on my hands and knees and cleaned the grout with a toothbrush. What can I say -- sometimes you just gotta do it. It was my Cinderella day. ha!

Krud Kutter claims to be friendly to the environment and can be purchased at stores like Lowes and Home Depot.

For smaller areas, hydrogen peroxide and a soft scrub brush works well too.

I appreciate the tips for other products, as we need to do our kitchen floor grout sometime soon.

I use soft scrub with bleach. I have big white tiles and grout as my kitchen counter(not my choice) and big white tile and grout for flooring (again not my choice). I can't handle the smell of plain plain bleach. I love the soft scrub. I just pour on, smear with something that I want to destroy and then clean with a rag I will throw away.
