O.k so I hate hate hate carrying a purse but worse is a backpack. I plan on having my husband carry a backpack into the parks each day with all we'll need.. Nice of me I know. ;)
I wonder what to carry for the airplane etc.. to hold our airline tickets, resort info...passporter, maps I've actually printed and stuff like that...gosh I have too much I think I may need to narrow it down.
Do you guys carry your passporter books everywhere with you or do you make a sheet/sheets for each day and carry them with a map?
Maybe with 3 sleeps left I am just to darn excited to be thinking straight.
Just would like to narrow down to necessity what i need to carry.
Funny cause I would like to think of myself with a backpack and no luggage and here I am with 4 checked luggage 1 carry on each and is it enough? I need to learn to pack light..... :confused3
What are your last minute strategy's??

I am only planning on taking my fanny pack. I hate purses and backpacks make my back sweat and they are rather cumbersome when you are riding but a fanny pack is just about right, plus it takes less time at the security points on entry. I have never taken a map etc. but this year I am planning on taking a ziplock bag with the park map and then transfer all of what I collect for the day back to the Passporter when I get back to my room because I don't think they will fit in my fanny pack.

I have a plastic multi-compartment "envelope" that I purchased from Target. It is the size of a legal envelope (5 inches tall, 10 inches wide, about 1.5 inches thick) with 12 separate compartments and has an elastic closure. I think these are actually sold for bookkeeping. You find them in the Office supplies section.

I set up the compartments for airline, rental car/or ME information, hotel, dining information, park tickets, discount coupons, maps, and other. I carry this envelope with me in my carry-on travel bag. I also include extra cash and an extra credit card in the travel envelope.

Once I get to the hotel I put it in the safe. Each day I take out what I need and transfer it to my fanny pack.

We have used this method for years and it has worked great for us!
