I read a post here earlier about all the papers people have collected for info. Some people said that they put all theirs in binders and take to WDW. I have alot of info in a file folder and a brief itenirary(sp?),and I wanted to know what all is in your information that you take with you?LOL!thanks!

I carry my itinerary, tickets, photo copies of my passes, when and where I have PS for each park, etc. I also have it separated into the days we will be there. For each day I have coupons for food (and gf's too), hidden mickeys for the parks we'll be in that day, and Disney tips (secrets) I've collected. I don't usually carry the whole notebook. I take out what I need for that day (i.e. coupons, gf's), and refresh on where to look for HM's and what little secret I'm going to search out. It keeps things fun and new every day.

I have my binder separated into the following sections:

1) Budget: I keep my master budget sheet in here which I create when first planning my trip to get approx. total cost, plus daily budget recording sheets to see how I actually end up.
2) Itineraries: weekly itinerary plus daily itinerary sheets for each day I am there, plus priority seating confirmations, coupons and anything else I need.
3) Confirmations: Plane confirmations, hotel conf., rental car, etc.
4)Miscellaneous: my section for lists! packing list, grocery list, places to eat, hidden mickeys, things not to miss, what to take to the parks, etc.
5) Tips: anything I find on these boards that I don't want to forget go here!
6) Maps: maps of Orlando area, International Drive, individual resort maps
7) Future trips: my favorite section :) I keep notes on different resorts I'd like to stay at, places I'd like to eat, things I'd someday like to do. When someone mentions a great room # they had, I record it here for future use!

I also keep my tickets in my binder, plus Disney dollars, maid-tipping envelopes with money already inside, gift certificates to use, blank paper for note-taking, etc. I'd love to start a journaling section of each year's vacation....

I LOVE my notebook :) and read through it often ;) I keep it a secret though from friends and family since I would never hear the end of it if they saw I actually keep a notebook on Disney!! LOL!

Kimberly,I love your ideas. I know what you mean about hiding it from your family! There is a great post here called "secrets of WDW" -- it is great! I'm going to print it off and take it. I really like your idea of future trip planning! Thanks for the great info!

I use my passporter, its great to not only PLAN your trip, but has pockets so
you can keep plane tickets, park passes etc all in one place...I also put our food coupons
and resteraunt certificates in it, its conveneient, informative (has places to plan
your dining, PS's etc...) Plus I can read it on the plane and continue my planning

This is a GREAT thread! And I thought I was organized...all I bring is a very thick manila folder!!! It has similar items that have already been mentioned here.

One thing I did which worked great was make a sheet to carry around each day. On the front was the itinerary for the day which included PS confirmation #'s, things not to miss, etc. On the back, I split it into 3 sections. The first was a section to list purchases, what, where, how much. The second was a section for food/restaurants, again, what, where, how much. The last section was blank to write brief comments as we were touring the parks. At the end of the night, I would write in my journal any thoughts along with what we did the entire day.

And I thought I was the only person who kept a binder!!! LOL :earsboy:

It made my trip in 99 so much fun to plan. My family and friends all thought I was nuts, but they know what a HUGE WDW fan I am! I sorted it by day and had somewhat of a plan of where we were going that day, along with menus for the restaurants we thought of going to that particular day. We often changed plans, but we at least had some idea of what to do! All that time, energy and money - I didn't want to leave everything to chance! In a previous trip we stood by the toteboard in Disney-MGM Studios for 20 min. in 97º heat deciding where to go next! Nowwwwwwww, I have somewhat of a plan!

I also did housekeeping envelopes & very much appreciate the ones on Heidi's website http://www.buffnet.net/~heidi/disney_maid_envelopes.html
that are in Spanish! Last trip, our tip sat there for a couple of days before I realized that the maid did not speak English!

Happy planning everyone!
