As an adult I called my parents Mom and Dad. My grandfathers died when I was 3 and I called my grandmothers Grandma.

My kids call us Mom and Dad or Daddy when they want something from him. They call my parents Nana and Papa and his parents are called Grandma and Grandpa.

I called my parent Mom and Dad.
My children call me Mom.
I called by grandparents Nana and Papa....didn't know the other ones.
My grand daughter calls me Nana and my DH Papa

I called my parents Mom and Dad, my grandparents were Grandma and Grandpa. I have three adult sons-the oldest is 39 and usually calls me Mom, but sometimes Momma. Middle son calls me Mom, unless he's mad. . .lol Youngest it's either Mom or MamaJama. Most of our grandchildren call us some form of Grandma and Grandpa (like Grandma Vicki, to differentiate between me and Grandma Kelly, for example). The little one used to call me Dammie, then Grammie and DH was Papa but last week she announced we are now Grams and Pops. I guess our names are pretty fluid.

I call my parents mom/dad. My son does the same though he does call me momma sometimes to be silly.

My grandparents were always grandma/grandpa last name. My son calls his grandma/grandpa first name except my dad who is papa.

I call my father Dad, and my stepmother by her first name. (I was an adult when my mom passed away.)

DS calls them Grandpa and Nana, and refers to my late mom as "Grandma (her first name)".

He calls DH's parents Mema and Poppa, and was lucky enough to know two of his great grandmothers. - One was called simply "Gram" and the other "Mema (her first name)".

When I was a kid, I called my grandmothers "Grandma (last name)".

As a kid - Mommy & Daddy. As an adult - Mommi (father died when I was young).

My mom's parents - Granny & Grandpa
My dad's parents - Grandad and Grandma Mac (shortened last name)

My kids called us Mama and Daddy when little - Mom & Dad now
They only had grandmothers - both called Grandma XXX(first name)

All the grandparents are Nanny and Grandad, but because we have 3 sets they have nicknames 'Bus Nanny' (she used to take them on a bus as part of their day out) 'Motorbike Grandad' (has several bikes and memorabilia in his house) etc etc

-- I called my parents Mommy/Daddy, then Mom/Dad.
-- My son called me Mom or Mim (I think that's a combination of "mom" and "Kim")
-- My daughter calls me Mom or Mommy.
-- I only knew one of my grandparents. I called her Grandma. When referring to any of them, I refer to them as Grandma [Last name].
-- My husband called one set of grandparents Gram/Grandpa Al; and the other side Grandma Lastname/Grandpa Lastname.
-- My kids call both sets of grandparents Grandma/Grandpa. If clarity is needed, they add the last name. (We asked the grandparents what they wanted to be called and both chose Grandma and Grandpa. Although when my son was little, he called my dad "Pa!" and that stuck with the littler ones for quite a while. I think my dad would have been happy if it stuck.)
-- My son knew both of his paternal great-grandmothers. He called them Gram (like DH did) and Grandma With The Fish. That was because she was in a nursing home by then and the nursing home had a *huge* salt water fish tank in the lobby which he was very excited about.

I called my parents Mother & Dad and my grandparents Grandma and Grandpa. That part was easy because I only had one set; the other set had passed away before I was born.

Our DS calls us Mom and Dad and called all of his various grandparents (at one point there were 6 of them) Grandma (first name) and Grandpa (firstname). DH's grown daughters call me by my first name and one calls DH Dad and the other calls him Daddy. Their children (there are 7 between them) call DH Grandpa and call me Nanannette, which is a mashup of Nana and my first name.

My mother has always been Mummy or Mum as we got older. I've had little contact with my father since I was 4 and none since I was 6, so I feel he never earned the promotion to Dad so in my head he is still Daddy, but I don't actually call him anything. My maternal grandparents were Nanny and Papa (glad to see some others here!) and his wife is just called by her first name. I never knew my paternal grandfather, my paternal grandmother was Grandma but I now refer to her by her first name (but haven't had any contact in years) and my great-grandmother was Marmie although I don't think I was actually speaking when she died. We also had next door neighbours we called Grandma and Grandpa [surname].

I called my parents Mommy and Daddy when I was very young. By about age 8 or so, I switched to Mom and Dad. However, when talking to one about the other, I'd always revert to Mommy and Daddy, even when they got much older. "Mom, did Daddy remember to tell you about...?"

My kids followed the same pattern. I'm called Mom to my face, but when they speak to each other, I'm Mommy.

Grandparents were called Babcia and Dziadziu, somewhat mispronounced as Bop-chee and Jah-jew. Polish terms for grandmother and grandfather.

No grandkids yet. I'd probably like to be addressed as Grandmom.

Love the Grandma with the fish LOL

Love reading about all your different names for everyone.

My kids called my husband's grandma "grammy V" Her first name started with v.

When I talk to my kids about their father I call him Daddy like Daddy said you could go to the movies.

I called my dad, dad. I call my mom until I was a teenager then I called her by her real name, kind of a kooky story. They have both passed on.

I called my mom's parents: Big Mamma and Big Daddy( which my grandfather was a Paul Bundy size of a man, but my grandmother was like 5 ft and 80 lbs soaking wet).

My dad's dad passed away way before I was born. His mom was neither grand nor motherly and she had no part in my life.

My dd18 calls me Mom or meanie, lol.

My dgd is 14 months, and I still haven't picked a name.

I call my parents Mom and Dad. My kids call me mom, mommy, or momma and my husband dad or daddy.
I called all my grandparents Grandma or Grandpa. My father in law wants my kids to call him Pop-pop, but that (and other ridiculous made-up names for grandparents) irritate me so much it is like fingers on a chalkboard. I refuse to call him that to my kids. (I don't mind Grandmother/Grandma or Grandfather/Grandpa as well as any ethnic names for those terms. I also don't mind Grammy/Gram.). I don't even like being around them when the other nieces and nephews are calling him that. Pop is a name for dad. Pop-pop is just like saying dad-dad. It is not even grandpop which I still wouldn't like, but could tolerate better. I was a nanny for a little girl and she had a Mimi/Poppy and a Nanny/Pop-pop. It was so hard to know who went with who.

I call my parents Mom/Momma & Dad/Daddy. DH calls his parents the same.

I think when I'm talking about them, they're generally more "Mom & Dad" or "Mom & Daddy," &, when I'm talking to them, they're "Mom & Daddy" or "Momma & Daddy." I tend to refer to my dad as "Daddy" more than I refer to my mom as "momma".

I called my mom's parents Paw-Paw & Granny - I was their first grandchild. I called my dad's parents Papa Jim & Mimi - I was their 3rd grandchild.

Our kids call my parents Granddaddy & Nana - our DD was their first. They call DH's parents Papa & Granny - our DD was their 4th.

My kids call me either Mom or Momma. They call DH Daddy mostly.

I call my parents Dad (or sometimes daddy) and my mom by her first name She's my stepmom as my mom passed away when I was 10. I called my grandparents Nonnie and Grandpa. My grandchildren call us Nonnie and Grandpa. My kids call my parents Grandma and Grandpa. Since they came along after some of their cousins, Grandma and Grandpa names were already established, otherwise they would probably have been Nonnie and Grandpa as well. Did ya follow all that? :rotfl:

My father, most just Dad, or sometimes, kidding around, I say, Pop. My step mom, by her name. My mother, Ma. My grandmother, Gram, and when her husband, my grandfather was alive, Gramps. My great-grandparents on my dad's side I called my Gram's mom and dad, Nanny and Poppy. My Grandfather's parents, they died when I was pretty little, were Grandpa Sal, and Grandma Fannie. On my mom's side, I really didn't see them hardly at all. We lived in NYC and they lived in NM, and then later, LA. We really didn't talk too much, either. I don't have kids.

For step grandparents, mostly just by their names. And their parents, we always said, Poppop, and Nana (fill in the blank) because that is what my step mom's family always did.

For fun if I have grandchildren in the future I was thinking Grannie for me LOL But that would make me seem sooooo old!

My parents are Mommy and Daddy. My maternal grandparents were Grandma and Grandpa. I called my paternal grandmother by her first name, at her request. I never knew my paternal grandfather, but I refer to him by his name.
