What do you call these?

I have always called them Jimmies. Around where I am working, they call them sprinkles. I am originally from NJ. DH(also from NJ) calls them Jimmies.

So what are they to you?

We call them Sprinkles 'round these parts. But, Jimmies sounds about right too for some odd reason.

I'm from NJ too so it is jimmies for me. Around here, in TN, they are sprinkles. So, I call them sprinkles because otherwise people would look at me like I had 2 heads!

I think. I don't usually like either, but if I had to get one or the other it would be Jimmies.

lol that's what I was thinking too...or just a group of guys named Jimmy...just sounds wrong for sprinkles..sprinkles is an appropriate word for what they are...jimmies, not at all.

Rainbow = Jimmies

Chocolate = Chocolate Jimmies..

Last time we went into Cold Stone, DH ordered Jimmies on his icecream, the lady looked at him like he was from the moon...the other guy asked if we were from the North..we and tell him NJ originally, and he said that explained it...then told the girl we meant rainbow sprinkles..LOL

DH claimes there are either "good Jimmies" or "bad Jimmies"..something about them being cheap..LOL

We've always called them sprinkles. I grew up mainly in PA, but also a few years in WI and I've been in CO a good part of my life, and I've never heard of them being called Jimmies- or maybe I did and just had no clue what they were talking about

chocolate-chocolate sprinkles
