Lol! In Hawaii if you call them flipflops you can TELL that the person's a tourist. In Hawaii you call them "slippas."

The plastic one's always give me blisters and scratches. I have to wear my comfy ones. All the other kinds hurt

you don't get the plastic ones.
i get these ones made out of this weird styrofoam material.. too comfy for words. but if you wear them too long, the 'thong' xD part will chafe against the sides of your toes and ouch.
