Hi guys! :wizard:
What do you bring along to the parks? So far I'm taking extra copies of our tickets, BodyGlide, Advil, water bottles, sunscreen, some $$$, some snacks, and... and... well, I feel like I'm missing something! Help! What did you bring that was useful? And what size bag did you carry it all in?

Many thanks!

Small first aid kit with bandaids.
tylenol
Kleenex -also doubles as toliet paper if needed.
Instant hand sanitizer (I clip this on my bag)
If traveling with girls - extra hair clips.
zip loc bags for water rides and wallets.
Cell phone
Disney maps

My bag is usually a little bigger than a purse, like a purse backpack thing.

Wow that list had a great link. That's a lot to carry though.

We are traveling with a 2 1/2 year old this time around. I plan on bringing: Diapers, Wipes, Change of clothes, Hand santitizer, rotating some small toys for him to play with (cars, bubbles, pipe cleaners), camera and the water sprayer (thingy). I am probably forgetting stuff. I don't want to carry to much though.

The water sprayer/fan was the one extra thing I was happiest about having brought. I got it at Walmart for just a few bucks. Also, hand sanitizers, extra napkins, cameras, autograph materials, and a change of clothes in case DD dropped an icecream or got extra soaked at one of the water play areas.

For a day with my 4yo, I bring in a backpack:

Extra set of clothes for DS
Extra pair of shoes for me (one pair flip flops, one pair something sturdier, BUT, since I got my Crocs, this may be a thing of the past!)
2 bottled waters
snacks for DS
band aids
ibuprofren (for DS and me)
eye drops
small towel (actually, this is a golf towel and attaches to the stroller)
kleenex
sunscreen
cell phone
rain cover for stroller + umbrella (during rainy times)
debit card, drivers license, health insurance card, $30 cash
wipes
lollipops (for bribery)
DS's "blankie" - I don't let him know I have it, but I can pull it out as a saver if he gets tired or scared

I have prepacked emergency kit that I bring EVERYWHERE. It's got medication for any emergency illness (Tylenol, Benedryl, Motrin, migraine pills), plus bandaids and antiseptic, and contact lens supplies. I also have sunglasses for everyone, hand sanitizer (clipped to bag), sunscreen, OFF wipes, cell phone, contents of my purse, camera and extra batteries in ziploc bags (in case we get splashed on a ride), bottled water and those crystal light packets (sorry Florida- your water is AWFUL), and some 100 calorie pack snacks.

Now this year we have the 2 yr old in tow so that means...pullups, wipes, change of clothes, and the stuffed puppy that we can't go ANYWHERE without- which I've been trying to figure out how we can "leash" to the stroller so he doesn't get lost

LOVE the idea of the golf towel on the stroller...might have to try that one.

I still bring a change of clothes for my 6yo. I just roll it and stuff it in a ziploc.

We travel fairly light -- I will bring my dd2 an extra pair of shorts/panties just in case, my wallet, the camera, extra batteries, and my ds5's medications that we can't go anywhere without - non-latex bandaids, EpiPen Jr., Benadryl Fastmelts, and inhaler. We will probably end up with autograph book and pen as well (each trip I say we won't do autographs but end up doing so anyway).

I've heard Bodyglide mentioned before, what is it? I've been having an argument with myself about what to carry. Hubby has volunteered to carry the backpack, but I feel guilty doing that. I'd love to minimize what we'll carry, but I know I won't. I remember one time I had to deal with my contact lens acting up at Epcot and I had nothing to put them in. I was so miserable.

We take a small soft-sided cooler that easily holds 8 flavored waters and a few packs of cookie snacks.

Just put the Body glide on before leaving and don't bother carrying it around. They do make a mini version that our running store carries instead of the deoderant size one.

Bodyglide comes in a deoderant stick type applicator. It's a skin barrier that you rub on your heels, between thighs, inside of your arm where it might rub your clothes (i do that on workouts)..anywhere you tend to get chaffed or blisters. I have 2 toes that rub together weird and I'm prone to blisters there. I love to do speed walks and would get motivated to work out then get major blisters after a week or so then it would set back my workouts until I heeled. I started using the bodyglide beyween my toes and I've never gotten another blister.

Our local running specialty store carries it but you can locate it online too.

Tickets, KTTW, a little extra cash, maybe a camera. That's it.
