I say that is one delish list! Can I come with? ;)

I think you are going to spend alot of park time eating. I personally would not do 2 TS in a day. I love Teppan Edo but I would skip Ohanas in the morning and not do both. Teppan Edo you will be there 1 hr plus. It is also at the way back and middle of Epcot. I also would not do Sci Fi and H&V in the same day. To time consuming.

If you are into eating and food go for it. It sounds yummy.

I have to agree...the portion sizes are huge! The day you are at DHS, you will still be full from lunch (or at least I would be!) by the time you have your dinner reserved. I would pick one each day, unlese you're on the Deluxe Dining Plan.

I think it sounds like a great meal plan. That's one of the parts of DW that I really enjoy most is taking the time to sit down for nice family meals. Because our children are so young we need those little breaks. Have a great trip!

we ARE on the deluxe plan ;) and with a newly 2 yo in tow I'd like to plan it so that we're sitting down. I tried to spread out the meals as best I could but the day for DHS that's the only time we're going there.

Your list looks fantastic!! Lots of great restaurants on there. Enjoy! :)

I would cancel H & V...I've read the reviews and they aren't positive. You should keep 'Ohana for breakfast. Our kids loved it! They also really enjoyed Cali Grill. Be careful about having too many TS meals with your two year old. Too many might push him over the edge. We did the DxDDP and thought we needed to do a lot of TS to get our money's worth but you are eating at some 2TS restaurants so you don't need to worry as much. We will only do the DDP in the future. We found too much time was spent at TS meals instead of touring the parks!

Have a fantastic trip! :)

Looks good. I'd drop Hollywood and Vine as those to reservations on that day seem really close together and We ate at H&V in Jan 07 and frankly I was my least favorite place the whole trip. Just "ok" nothing to write home about.

Have fun!

I absolutely agree! Your list looks good except for Hollywood and Vine. It was our worst meal by a long shot. Everything else looks great!

hollywood and vine is the play house disney charecters right? its really 'that' bad? <sigh> At DHS what would you replace it with?

If you're doing the H&V for your 2 & 6 year old, just don't expect the best breakfast EVER, expect that they'll love the characters and go for that. Then you'll enjoy it.

We were on the DxDP last visit in February and loved it. Admittedly, we are big eaters and just ate lightly when the previous meal had been heavy. We were traveling with 3 kids, 9, 8 and 10 months, plus myself, my partner, and my mom. We liked the breaks with the kids! It gave me time to breastfeed in a quiet and sit-down place, and got us off our feet. We ate like kings. Due to the heavy walking I didn't gain an ounce. (Actually most days we at 3 TS meals, against all recommendations). With a good touring plan we were able to see everything (breakfasts were done by park opening on most days), we had lunch at 1300 (so 4-5 hours later), and dinner at 1730-1800. We had healthily, almost no snacks or pop, and chose to eat foods that were light not a lot of burgers or fries. The kids ate well, and liked the amount of food, and I was pleased that they weren't ever pestering us for fries or ice cream, because their bellies had good food in them.

Also, part of vacationing for us is good food. I couldn't handle a week of CS for a meal every day. My kids would invariably chose hot dogs and french fries, and by sitting down at TS restaurants, invariably the choices were much better health-wise.

I think the frequent breaks also re-energized the kids as we didn't go back to the hotel during the day. The meals served as that break.

Going to H and V got us into the park early and it was fine. Nothing spectacular but fun. With early risers in our family, we might as well get up and going at 715 and go to a character breakfast to start the day.
