What do we know about WOC/PTN in April and May?

We are going May 19-26. I'm so confused about what is happening with World of Color and Paint the Night.

So far this is what I understand:

1. Paint the Night starts on April 13. There are 3 dining packages for it. These packages seem to mirror those currently available for WOC seating. Carthay Circle, Wine Country and a dessert party (at Sonoma Terrace for PTN).
2. At this time, it looks like World of Color won't be running from April 13 until sometime in May. I'm basing this on a post I saw about Adventures by Disney packages normally including WOC seating and saying they'll substitute from mid-April until at least the first week of May (I'm assuming they're substituting with the PTN packages). There are also no WOC dining packages available after April 13.

I'm going to have to book in about a month for our trip. I had planned to do the WOC dessert party because the last time we were at Disneyland, WOC was just a big dirt pit. It was a priority for us. Is there any officially announced WOC refurb? Or even a rumor? If WOC should just be down for a short refurb, will they do dining packages for both PTN or WOC?

Nothing official from what I have seen. No rumors except this one you have above. I would be surprised.

I've heard from people who work at DL that WOC is going down for a refurb for awhile, but no one seems to know exact dates. It would make sense to overlap with the start of PTN, in my opinion, since that will give them some time to focus on PTN crowd control without ALSO having to juggle WOC. They can observe how PTN is going with crowds and then figure out how WOC fits into that. Even if WOC didn't really need any work, logistically, it's nice for them to just have the one show to deal with at first.

My understanding is that when WOC returns, there will still be a dessert party. No idea on the dining packages.
