What do u think about the whole re-saleing thing??

I really think that is is really stupid because they are making everything in VMK less valuable. The resold the princess dress the space suit and the cowboy and indian outfits too. What do u think about this opinion??

buy that haloween stuff, cause they really cant re-release that for another 11 months or so. Lot of people will join vmk between now and then. Although, who will really want to trade for halloween stuff in march? lol

I'm all for re-releasing stuff, but make make a subtle change here and there to each outfit, to make them a little different than they were originally. I mean they could even put a little mickey head pin (like they use for the hidden mickey game) and make it visible when you wear the costume. For example, yellow space suit with a gold mickey pin on it (on your chest, like a soldier) - 1st release, yellow space suit with silver mickey pin on it- 2nd release, yellow space suit with bronze mickey pin on it - ALL FUTURE releases. Know what i mean? Otherwise, they should start calling their specials "not-so-special-in-the-future" lol.

I do have mixed feelings about it- I got the chance to get things I didn't before because I hadn't participated before- but I also think it takes some of the specialness away from them as well. I mean- everyone has them now- sure in a few months we will have lots of kids wanting them- but what will they have to trade for them?

As far as Halloween stuff goes- I think the biggest demand may be for the skeleton chairs and those dividers- although I know if my first time on vmk was a few months down the road I'd also want the mickey eared pumpkin. Somehow I don't think the Churnbog or even pirate sand carpet will be as big of draws... What do others think?

Actually they only shifted the values. Since you can now hypothetically trade a cyan rocket couch for 3 or more complete special costumes, does that make the costumes less valuable or the couch more valuable. Value is strictly in the minds of the people trading anyway.

Only people that are into trading and have been on VMK long enough to get some of the rarer stuff dislike the costumes being sold again. If I was into trading I might be a little upset too. But as it is, I am really happy that the credits I have been working for are finally going to buy me something I like and that other newer players are going to be able to get them.

Somehow I can see those two being moved into regular stock, since they really aren't strictly halloween stuff. Especially the pirate sand. I'd be really surprised if that disappeared. Even so, i have planned accordingly.

honestly. i have been pretty excited about it. i understand how it upsets others who were going for the whole rare thing. but honestly i was excited to have the chnace to get the yellow dress. i had given up on that and was just happy with my little pink one!

but i don;t want rare stuff becuase it's rare. i think i've said it before. i don't want green flips. {gasp!} i want inferno because it looks cool. i want the purple pirate piano because i like purple! and i love the space suit i now have.

i don;t know. i understand, but i am excited about it. and have been stocking up like mousedude said "accordingly".

and i agree, i think at least the pirate rug should stick around.

Chernabog is not a big draw for us females but I think Males really love it.

I agree with Mike on this I think those two might move into regular inventory.

but to answer your question, I too have mixed feelings about rereleases.

But remember once the items are gone again they become rare again...you always have new people joining or ones who missed out for one reason or another.
