What makes them worth the extra money? Most hotels I go to, anybody can just call up the conceirge and they'll happily help you out, so I'm wondering what the deal is at the Disney resorts.
You have concierge only access to your floor or building. They usually put robes in your rooms. Turndown service is automatic. They can help you with "hard to get" PS. Each concierge area has a lounge where you can get a continental breakfast, snacks/water/sodas during the day, and appetizers/desserts/wine in the evening.
At WDW resorts the services of the concierge staff are not available to just anyone. The concierge staff and lunge are on a seperate keyed floor. The rooms are generally nicer, they offer robes, upgraded toiletries, turndown service in teh evenings, snacks and such in the lounge.
There are TONS of threads on this boards about concierge services, why not browse back a few pages and read away.
