What do the acronyms mean?

I’m just thankful DME is no longer part of the lingo. It made MDE, MDX, MSEP, EMH, EEH and EMM all the more confusing 🤪

Welcome to The DIS!!

I remember back in the day I was so confused by all the acronyms.
For me....its Dear Husband and Dear Daughter. Actually for me, I say DD21 to signify her age, but I don't do that for my DH - I don't think he'd appreciate me saying DH54 :rotfl:.

I hope you enjoy your time here on the The DIS.

Ha yes. My DW was the original Disney fan. I guess I'm just catching up?

On here could be both dear/disney. For texting the D has typically meant 'dear' for quite a long time.

Then there is the story of the person who thought the acronym LOL meant "Lots of Love" and every time someone posted the death of a family member or tragic life event they replied and at the end posted LOL. AWKWARD
