What do pin code e-mails look like?

Maybe a stupid question...
But I get loads of e-mails from Disney and never a pin code.
-Who are they usaully from? What is the return address?
-I've heard that they could be in the fine print at the bottom of a regular e-mail? Or are they there own e-mail and pretty obvious that it is a pin code?

Please educate me.

They're often from Disney Destinations. Generally they're in an e-mail with lots of graphics, and they may have your name in the greeting. Read it carefully. Down towards the bottom, they may say, Reserve now! Be sure to mention this PIN when you call and then give you a code.

If the code is 3 letters, then it's just an e-mail announcing a general public code.

Ironically, I got my first pin e-mail last night. Now I really know what they look like! Of course it was for free dining which I can't use but it gives me home for something else.

I got one for room discounts through Dec. 16 from Disney Destinations a few days ago. The heading was Save on a magical resort stay, ****** family. There's a magic wand on the right side. At first I thought it was generic but I scrolled all the way to the bottom and was very surprised to find a pin. It's my first and I am still giddy. It's amazing how quickly you can make resort reservations when properly motivated. I was even able to get a few hard to come by dining reservations.
Hope that helps.

I got what I think is a pincode email, but except for background graphics it is blank and when I click on the link to display it in my browser, it says it can't fulfill my request. Seems like something is broken. Is there any way to see what they offer is. And I already have a package booked with free dining. I probably couldn't use a pin code with that anyway?
Thanks!
Starr

WDW also sends PINs through regular mail. We received quite a few over the past year or so. In fact we received 4 for some that came along with us on WDW trips over the past 5 years! We did also receive a room discount PIN. Early in 2009 we received a PIN for a $500 giftcard with a 5 day stay at ANY resort. It required a minimum 1 day ticket purchase and 5 night stay anyplace. Those were all in the mail we have received many via email. The most recent was in the beginning of the year for room discounts after saving a few vacations. I know for sure it was due to this since the email referenced the saved vacation and at the very bottom it stated to save and call and use the PIN. That was by far the most elusive PIN. I wouldn't have thought the email was a PIN but I did read the entire thing since I knew of the PINs being sent for saving vacations.

I got a pin email the other day for resort discounts in November...too bad I can't use it.

Usually you can tell in the subject line... like a great deal for you. Mine said Don't be late for a very important date. Mine had the offer and the code in the lower right hand corner.

I can confirm what other posters have said. All the true emailed PINs I've gotten come from DIsney Destinations over the last five years (though I've gotten other offers from other Disney sources).

I have also gotten several offersinthe mail. They are usually glossy with lots of Disney pictures.
