What do I request- VB, OKW

This January I will be in a studio, and have a car, and be with 2 small kids- what should I request??

At OKW- which rooms have been refurbished?? Is the only guaranteed request HH, have any of those been done? Is HH the best area?

At Vero (garden view)- should I request upper floor or pool view, or should I request lower so it's closer to the beach/pool?

Just stayed in a HH studio at OKW a couple weeks ago - where we were was not redone yet - but still a very nice location we loved with our kids.

To me HH area at OKW is the least desirable area. I'm glad that now I don't have to worry about getting it.

May I ask why you did and did not like HH area, so as to get a better idea of what might work best for us?

Parking is not good at HH and we always have a car. There are limited spaces at the HH for guests to check in, shop, dine. Once they are full, people overflow to the parking spaces close to the HH at Bldg 11, 12, 13 and 14 or 62 (which is not considered near HH). We will go to a park in the AM and had back to the resort for a nap or a swim (we prefer the Turtle Pond or South Point pools, but Miller Road isn't bad either). If we had to park far from our resort because other guests took up the spaces near our building, we wouldn't be happy. Plus we prefer the views from the other areas.

Thank you for explaining! I'm beginning to think maybe we should just see where we end up and not request anything! The closeness to the pool sounds great for the kids, but we do have a car and having parking is important- and I don't mind a nice quiet view!
