What do I need to know about AKV: Jambo?

We purchased DVC last year and stayed at BLT. Our home resort is AKV and we are staying there 12/22 - 12/28. What do I need to know about the resort?

Have you looked into the Wanyama Safari? It's a tour for about 10 people (you have to be a guest at the Lodge to sign up for it). They take you on a safari through the resort's savannas and then you get a family style meal at Jiko afterward. The dinner was great because it was served family style so you got to try much of Jiko's menu.

The whole experience was AMAZING. And it was very cool to learn about the animals we could see from our room throughout the rest of our stay.
