What do I need for Virgin Frequent Flyer?

I'm on the verge of booking my third Virgin holiday and am therefore able to join the VFF club, the problem being I have no information regarding the date that I went for the first time, I know it was in September 2002 but I can't for the life of me remember the exact date (I've slept since then believe it or not!). I also can't find my old passport which would have had the immigration stamp on it - (that would of course, be too easy - anyone getting a general idea of my character here?).

I know that the main benefit of this is that I'll get some posh luggage tickets (little things please little minds!), but will Virgin require this information or will they accept my word for it?

Failing that, does anyone remember seeing an overly-excited Yorkshireman straining at the leash to get on the plane in Manchester, September 2002? I realise it's a long shot...

Not only do you get posh luggage labels - they come in a box with a piece of red carpet!!!

I would presume (although this will probably be wrong knowing Virgin Holidays!) that they would have record of previous trips - they did when i booked my third holiday with them. They deducted the 10% off the bill when it arrived.

Hi, we joined the frequent Virgin Club and just gave the month and year as it was so long ago. When I originally asked about this on the dis someone said they made up a date and still got accepted, so I'm sure you'll be ok. Question - has anyone found a use for the piece of red carpet they send you.

Thought about giving it to the guinea pig to demolish....seems to be able to demolish everything else in the house (much to my husband disgust!!).

The carpet is still in the box with all the other useless stuff!!!!
