What do I do wrong with my tickers?

Inspired by Nikki's thread I put tickers on my post but how do I make them appear on every post I make now? I've never been able to achieve this.

Lol cherry.... I used the dis tickers....

R u using website or app?? Website is much better.... Go into user cp which is the the left in the blue bar...then edit signature....

i used the Disney ticker section that dis recommend, then, u need the text from the section starting [url select, copy and then paste it into the signature box....

Some tickers won't work on here too though. They are blacklisted by the Dis, I think they weren't reputable or safe but 100% sure.
Downloaded the android app Disney vacation countdown which is a cool little widget that tell me how many days til we get back (still above 100 days - far too many IMO )

Yay! Yes it does! Thank you, Nikki, I am so grateful as I have made tickers many times on the Disney ticker section without ever realising that I needed to edit my signature too... and then wondered why they never "stuck".

Kizzabel, I didn't realise there were other tickers but will look into the android app Disney vacation countdown later. For the moment I am just so happy to have mastered a ticker at all!

Try putting

after each ticker ..... if that doesn't work try {url} and {/url} but substitute { } with [ ]

You can visit the tech support board for some help here

Once you've created it, you need to copy the correct code and put this on your signature, then hit preview signature to check it's there. You need to copy the code that has IMG at the beginning and end.

Well, yes.. thanks Jill and Jo but although on my preview I get everything including the text detailing how long I've got "until our Christmas Disney trip" on actual posts this is missing. I think I am jinxed!

Delete the space between your tickers and that should do the trick Cherry xx

Is there maybe a limit on how big your signature can be? If so maybe if you chose smaller tickers they might both fit?

This should do the trick or else try putting them on the same line like I have mine.

I am actually rather embarrassed now having such large tickers . I chose them for the pictures without realising some were bigger than others! I think we could do with a few more Disneyland PARIS banners to choose from.

I found a lovely dlp ticker but unfortunately it was from a site that we can't put onto dis. Now you know who to do it, you can play about until you're happy

No probs Cherry, its trial and error. I've spent ages tinkering with my tickers and signature and do get a bit of sig-envy. Some people have more creativity in their little fingers then is in one whole me. ;-)

Look at those two handsome tickers
