What do I do with this broken blow dryer?

Growl, grumble, I'm mad now!

We gave DD13 a blowdryer as one of her gifts on Christmas....we'd run through a few blowdryers and hadn't had one in the house for several months. She was so happy with it because it had one of those diffuser things with the vented fingers too, which she uses to "scrunch" her hair. Anyway, she used the thing once, and it worked perfectly. We obviously threw away the box and instructions and everything. Well, tonight she went to use it for the second time and it doesn't work! DH looked at it and he said it's the safety plug part that's broken. It has this test button and reset button on the plug and he said the reset button is broken.

I have the receipt but we don't have any of the packaging, just the blowdryer. I bought it at Target. Will they take it back? What do I do with it?

Go buy another one. Use that packaging to return the broken one. Just make sure to tell them that it is broken so they don't put it back on the shelf.

They'll take it back without the box - especially for an exchange.

well, I'm gonna take it up there today(minus the packaging) and try to return it. I'll let you know what happens.
