what do I do with my stuff?

Ok, this is an odd question, but what do I do with my back pack while on rides? This is my first trip to dw, I"ve been to disneyland but we've had a stroller to put all that stuff of. This will be just my dh & I and I want to have a small back pack with my camera. Does anyone have suggestions for me?

Take it off, loop it through your arm, stuff it between your legs, hold on... and Smile!

I've always carried a backpack and take it on all rides. I usually put it on the floor and put a leg through the loop. No problems.

Keep a large ziplock bag in the backpack to put things like cameras in, to keep them dry on the wet rides. Have fun!

I always just put it on the floor of the ride and hang on to the strap, or on HM for example, I just set it beside me.

Yep...even on the rockin rollercoaster.....put leg through strap just in case and hold on

The only time that I've had problems is Universal:IOA. They require that on the Fire/Ice roller coaster and the Hulk to put your items in a locker that is free for the first 30 minutes. But if you stay on Disney soil, you can hold on to your items.

Being able to take a backpack w/ all over at WDW is another reason why I love Disney! It's jsut soooooo easy

I just bring what's necessary. ID-credit card-debit card- cash on my wallet.

Lip balm on my pocket. Camera attached to my wrist.

Your question has been answered by the many. Backpacks would have an ample space to hold our thingamajigs.

Unless your bag is HUGE, you should be able to take it on everything at WDW.

I love Disney because you can take your backpack on every ride with no problem. At six flags you have to put it off to the side and I just don't trust the people there.

For most rides it put my backpack on the floor by my feet. On Tower of Terror and RNR I loop one of the straps around my leg. I never had a problem doing this.

The other poster made a great comment on keeping things like a camera in a ziplock back. I got caught in a downpour and the ziplock saved my camera and ponchos. Have you ever tried putting on wet ponchos when you are hot and sweating? Its really not easy or fun.

I take ours with us too, I have to it has DS's rescue meds in it so it has to be on my person at all times.

I carry a small mini-backpack that I purchased from Walmart. I just wrap it around a leg....say a prayer and hold on!

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I knew I could take it on some of the rides but I was concerned about a couple of them. Only 26 days till I"m there!
