What do I do now?

We leave in one week. I have my itinerary ready. I haven't gotten tickets yet, but only because I'm waiting to have all the $$$. I've made sure that we all have enough clothes that fit (not quite shorts weather here yet! ). I've bought all the little things to help make the trip easier. I know what I'm bringing to keep us busy on the ride down (10 hours) and while in line. Am I forgetting anything? I don't want to start packing just yet, it's just too soon for me. So what do I do for the next 7 days???? I've spent the past month planning ceaselessly, and now I have nothing to do!!!!

I started packing pretty early (since we did not need the summer clothes at the time). However, b4 I packed I made a list of clothes in the computer so I didn't overpack. I made an Excel spreadsheet listing each day & then planned outfits for myself & the kids (dh had to do it on his own!). I planned 2 shirts & one pair of shorts for the kids per day (they get shirts dirty more then shorts). We also did laundry (stayed in WLV w/a W/D) so I did not have to pack as much. So planning your outfits may help kill some time for the next few days & then you can start your packing. In the meantime, relax, watch The Weather Channel, and GET EXCITED!

To me, this is the worst part. WAITING........

Just try and keep busy. Before you know it you'll be back home with Mickey withdrawl trying to understand why you can't just live there with mickey....

Do you need to have the newspaper delivery suspended, arrange for pets, fill prescriptions, buy snacks for the drive down, refill the windshield wiper fluid in the car, etc? Those tasks could keep you pretty busy too!
