What do DH and DS mean?

Please fill in a novice user about DH and DS, and any other secret codes used frequently.

I can figure out resort names, rides and such, but this one has me stumped.

Is there a place that lists all the abbreviations?

For some reason even though I know what they mean, I always first see it as Dead Husband, etc.. I guess I'm just morbid

Why can't people just say H or W, etc... How many people talk to other people and refer to their spouse or children all the time as Dear Husband or even Disney Husband. Makes no sense....

As a DH I always thought the others meant Dependant Wife, Dependant Son and Dependant Daughter, not forgetting the dreaded DMiL!
