What Disney Restaurant Would You NOT want to go again and why?

CRT.

I don't want the photos (would have to pay for them anyway), am not interested in meeting princesses, and I hear the food is not all that. The cost is for the atmosphere, not the food.

I feel the same way about Akershus and I used to love Akershus before it went princess.

LTT, Tony's, R&C.. not impressed with food, theme or service, so no need to try again. San Angel.. do it once every two or three years, then remember nice atmosphere, so-so food.

Tusker House - The food was ok but we were treated horribly. Our server never came over to introduce himself and we felt neglected. :( One of the characters skipped right over our table! This is the only Disney dining establishment where we felt penalized for not having children with us.

I'm all set with LTT, and although it has nothing to do with TS restaurants the Smoked Turkey Legs make me nauseous.

We have been twice and we will not go again...

We tried it for the first time on our honeymoon... The atmosphere was nice and our server was also nice enough.... But we did not like the food at all...

We always give a place a second try if it had some qualities that we liked... We tried it again last May... We were doing the FDP.... We liked the idea of the quick seating at the show, so we thought we would give it another try...This time the food was terrible! We could not believe how bad it was... The sauce was brownish in color, the chicken was like rubber, the pasta dish had way too much oil and too many spices... Again, we liked the atmosphere and our server... But the food was so bad that we had to force ourselves to eat.... It is too bad.

I have to agree my DH and went last year - it just wasn't that good. The service wasn't good, my entree as well as desserts was wrong and there were no apologies for that. It was crowded and noisy - I didn't expect a quiet restaurant but we had a corner table that was pushed up next to the 1/2 wall and another table was less than a foot from us. The wait staff was constantly bumping the back of our chairs and edge of the table. I didn't feel the food was worth the $$$. We even talked with the manager on the way and he did not even offer an apology. This restaurant was not up to what I consider Disney Standards.

Garden Grill - the food was terrible, it seemed like all of our food had been sitting around for awhile, dried and yucky. The rolls were so hard that if I had thrown one at somebody I am sure I would have knocked someone out cold!! Bad.......but the characters were the best we had ever had at any character meal.

Planet Hollywood-- great food but LOUD and busy busy
Hollywood & Vine--been twice and food and service both times were HORRIBLE. This last time the older waitress had to be told several times we needed refills. We tried to have conversation with her but she didn't want any of it. A friend finally got out of her she had been with DW for 25 years.
Garden Grill--we love the food but service 2 times have been BAD

Cape May Clambake. Bad bad bad seafood. Never again without a doubt. We are used to seafood living by Eastern Shore Maryland. Dirt in my clams is completely unacceptable.

Do you mean Garden Grill or Garden Grove?? I think you mean Garden Grove at the Swan, and I 100% agree with you. The food there was just awful!! Service was nice and the drinks were strong, but the food was dreadful.

Another for me is Cape May Cafe --- I think we might try again, but based on our last experience, there is really no justifying this place. Uggh - the breakfast is so bad!!!!!!

San Angel Inn - I'd rather get frozen Mexican from the grocery store and microwave my dinner. Oh wait - I think that is exactly what they do there!

DW says Spoodles - i kind of liked it, but her food was pretty mediocre, and definitely not worth the $$.

We won't go back to:

1. Liberty Tree Tavern - TV dinner quality food, probably would not eat there for free.... well maybe for free :)

2. Whispering Canyon Cafe- not sure if the ribs were actually real meat or rubber, too loud for us.

3. 1900 Park Fare - poor character interaction and food was just not good, really felt like I threw money away. Maybe just a bad night, and I think this was at a temporary location if I recall. Still won't be back, the experience was that bad.

4. San Angel Inn - which is a shame because the atmosphere is pretty unique and I think appealing to the kids. Might go back for that reason, maybe, but not thrilled with the food.

Coral Reef! We had the best table you could ask for but the server was a total witch and the person that brought the apps just threw them across the table. It was so bad we left and went to Garden Grill. ;) I know that's one of the ones mentioned on here a lot but we've eaten there several times and loved it every time. Once my food was not up to par but my server made it right and it ended up being the best meal ever there! If the food is ever bad you should question it no matter where you are!:tink:

Coral Reef - bad service, cold restaurant and mediocre food at high price
LTT - mediocre food tasted like it came out of a can
Cape May - so where is all the seafood? And what is there is just OK...
ESPN - wayyyy too noisy
Yak and Yeti - again just barely mediocre - could have been great

We didn't like either Raglan Road

We also had a horrible experience at Raglan Road. It was crowded when we went. The waiter was the worst and the food was not good. The atmosphere, the band and the beer were great, but no good for dinner.

We loved the Sci-fi for lunch, but had a horrible dinner with a very rude waiter. In retrospect, I should have complained to the management. It was that bad. Again, for lunch, this place is fun and does good cheeseburgers and that type of food, but don't order anything else off their somewhat fancier dinner menu. They can't cook that type of food, so they shouldn't try.

And finally, Cap n' Jacks. The host and hostess at the front desk were just unprofessional and nasty, but that is not the reason why I wouldn't go back. This place was DIRTY with a capital "D". The silverware was not clean, and the place was generally gross. Also, the food was mediocore at best. I was afraid to eat because the place was not clean. However, the waiter here was very nice.

I liked Coral Reef, but my wife wasn't crazy about it. However, I wouldn't rush to go back.

I would not go to Coral Reef again, because the menu was very limited, and the atmosphere was a bit like Chucky Cheese - out of contol kids!

I will never go back to Earl of Sandwich for breakfast. It was just way too greasy, I was sick from it for the rest of the day :(

Something I will also never again do is order a specialty cake at a Poly-restaurant. Ordering it was a not so positive experience, the person on the phone was no help at all and sounded very annoyed. When we arrived at the Luau, they first couldn't find my cake => it "ruined" the first part of the meal because I had been looking forward to this cake! When they finally found it, they just threw it on the table. I had to pay 18% gratuity on the cake, and they didn't cut it, didn't even provide a decent knife. Just threw it on the table.

The cake wa sreally good, but a next time, I'll order it from someplace else!

Some places that I didn't reserve again:

Sci-Fi Dine In: Love the atmosphere- but eaten here twice- first time pretty good, but the last time food was really only ok and I was annoyed at having to order my dessert at the same time as the rest of the meal. We loved the movie clips and all- but I think they've been showing the same one since the opening and would love to see something different.

Whispering Canyon Cafe- Food mediocre, our waitress was nice but not really into the part.

I got food poisoning from Crystal Palace on my honeymoon!! It ruined the last four days of my honeymoon. We didn't even get to use all of our days at the park and I didn't purchase the option so that the tickets would not expire. I could not stop "getting sick" which is so sexy on your honeymoon. Plus the food was horrible. I actually ate off of the kids buffet because everything else looked so gross. I had chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese. Maybe I'm in the minority here. But I'll never be back and I will not eat at a buffet at the parks. The only buffet I eat now is Boma because I love that place!!!!:lovestruc
