What Disney books do you own?

You would do that for me? I can't tell you how grateful I would be if you could find another one, $40 is a great price but the Amazon one is a bit too expensive, DH would never forgive me, he could buy many vintage Star Wars figures for that!!:rotfl2:

It's no biggie if you don't find another one and please don't go to any trouble, just have yourself a great holiday!

Happy New Year to You!

I have that book and it is lovely. Ticket price is $40 on the cover. Strange thing is I thought I picked this up last year at WDW but I could be confused. I'll look again when we go next month and if it is available at a more reasonable price I'll try and get another one.

It goes through the day and round the world with pictures from the different Disney parks at different times of day. Very clever and very sweet.

I've just looked on amazon and it is available from around £65 (but the sellers ratings are near 90%)

Some great books on here that I need to add to my wish list:thumbsup2

I have:

Mouse Tales
Mouse Tales 2
Imagineering Field Guide to MK
Imagineering Field Guide to Epcot

That's it so far, but am going to look at some of the others you have all mentioned :thumbsup2

I have most of the one's you guys have listed but the one I would REALLY like to own is the 'One Day at Disney' by Pam Brandon, this looks absolutely gorgeous but it's so expensive and i've seen it sold for over $200 :scared1:

Ohh....Tell us more about this one :)

I only have From sketch to reality about DLRP. But it is a fab book so I don't mind only owning one (so far ;) )

You have a wonderful book :goodvibes I'm lucky enough to have a signed copy, partly because one of the authors used to belong to the same UK fan clb I did (Magical moments and memories - sadly no longer in existence).

Here are mine:-

The Walt Disney World Trivia Book: Secrets, History & Fun Facts Behind the Magic

The Art of Walt Disney from Mickey Mouse to the Magic Kingdom

Hidden Mickeys, 2nd Edition : A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets

Secrets of Disney's Glorious Gardens

Florence - what is secrets of Disneys glorious gardens like and where did you get it? I bet that has a lot of beautiful pictures!

It's a lovely book. I really like all of the topiary in the parks and this book certainly doesn't disappoint. I got it from Amazon.

Remembering Walt, Favorite Memories of Walt Disney ~ Amy Boothe Green and Howard E Green (Foreword by Ray Bradbury). This is a collecton of soundbites from many who knew him - family members, friends, colleagues, employees and public figures - interspersed with photos.

Walt's Time, from before to beyond ~ Robert B Sherman and Richard M Sherman. This is one of my favourites. It's a beautiful coffee table book written by the Sherman Brothers (who penned so many classic Disney songs) and is described as, "A supercalifragilistic scrapbook of our expialidocious songwriting career".

The Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney and the American Way of Life ~ Steven Watts. This is a well-balanced biography and commentary of Walt's influence on American culture.

The Hand Behind The Mouse ~ Leslie Iwerks and John Kenworthy. An intimate biography of Ub Iwerks, the man Walt Disney called "the greatest animator in the world".

Walt Would Walt Do? ~ D M Miller. This book chronicles the experiences of a young Florida engineer who served the team during construction of Walt Disney World from 1968 to 1971.

The Disney Version, The Life, Times, Art and Commerce of Walt Disney ~ Richard Schickel. I felt I had to get this for its historical significance, but it isn't an easy read.

I'm also part way through two others, kindly loaned to me by fellow DISers. Thanks, Sue (Florida Sun) and Kev (Kevin Stringer) respectively:

Making Walt Disney World Vacation Memories ~ Aronda Parks. A guidebook of sorts, but written in a narrative style.

Celebration USA, Living in Disney's Brave New Town ~ Douglas Frantz and Catherine Collins. The authors are newspaper journalists - a married couple - who embark on the ultimate in story research: they move their family to Celebration in its early days.

Other than a ton of guide books I don't have anything else, I may have to recrify this soon....

:)

Jodie
