People who are sarcastic or downright nasty, and if you call them on it, they simply deny it. I find that is becoming more and more common in here, and it is spoiling a lovely place.

At one point there was a thread running on the Canadian board about how people were sometimes afraid to post for fear of being attacked.

It seems if you are not in it from the start of the thread, you are not invited.

while I can not speak for all of the "clique-ish" threads I can say if you come to the Swan and Dolphin thread here on the CB you would be welcomed. I had never stayed at that hotel but I was friends with one member and they ALL welcomed me in and made me feel at home. They are a wonderful group of people.

Same goes for my All My Children thread.....anyone is welcome to come post there. You may have to watch the show to understand what we are talking about anyone is always welcome there.

I guess I should answer the question posed to but I dont think a whole lot really bothers me.

Spelling - who cares unless you really can not understand what the person is trying to say. No one is perfect and I for one am not gonna re-read my threads before submitting.....I think it is a bit silly to be that picky about someones spelling.


I guess the thing that I think is a bit out there is all the off the wall posts...like what color is you underwear, do you pick your nose or blow it...those kind of things have me

I dislike the judgment sometimes encountered on the resorts board. For example, I am not a snob just because I have been fortunate enough to have stayed concierge before (and if you saw our annual income, you would know how much we saved to splurge for that). By the same token, I am not a cheapskate because I have stayed at All Star Music and Pop Century. That really gets on my last nerve. Don't judge people based on where they have stayed on vacation.

I dislike the overuse of the rolling eyes smiley. That smilie can be really mean. I'm not sure it qualifies to be called a "smilie" LOL!

I dislike it when people jump all over newbies. We were all new once.

I dislike melodrama. Like other posters have said, I hardly think that the lack of a towel animal or one meal where the food wasn't the best you've ever had really constitute a ruined trip.

But I agree with many others posters. I think the DIS is overall a terrific board. I don't see the horrible mistreatment here that I have seen on other boards from time to time.
