What did you miss the first time that you regret not doing?
What did you do 1st time that you wont take the time doing on 2nd cruise?

I didn't do the spa the first cruise..I will be in Jan! My dd wasn't in the clubs till the last day, she saying she will be there the whole time!

After our Dolphin Encounter, Iwill stay at Blue Lagoon and enjoy the beach !

Have fun!
Ursula

We didn't do Palo on the first cruise but we made sure we did it on the second! Wonderful dining experience!!!

DW and I parasailed on the second cruise - no way to describe it other than breathtaking.

We never made it to Palo on our first 4 day Wonder cruise in 2001. I am making a point of getting there the next time...I have to try that chocolate souffle!!

Didn't do Palo on cruises one or two, finally made it on three and sure will be there for #4!
I did the spa on cruise number one, now I forgo that for better excursions instead.
Wine tasting is a don't miss in my book-hey where else can you get six glasses of wine for $12.00? ;)
The family caberet shows are such a nice time with your child,, be sure to go back for the adults only ones..the show changes!

AnnMorin - Cruise #5 is coming up....I'm guessing that you'd recommend the wine tasting? :D We haven't done that yet...but it sounds like a bargain.

Also, we're doing Palo for the first time...we usually get such great table-mates that we don't want to skip dinner...but this trip we're going to make a point of getting to Palo.

Haven't done the parasailing...but my husband has us signed up for it (I am scared spitless!! Which in retrospect could be a good thing.).

Did a spa treatment for the first time on cruise #4. It was the seaweed wrap and it was wonderful!!!! Going to try something again this year.

Remembered to bring books/magazines for pool time.

Vista Spa Rainforest Room - wow!;Palo and have Chocolate Souffle;WWTBAM; Wine Tasting; more Bingo; 70s, 80s, & 60s nights (new show)

These were the things I did on my recent cruise. The Rainforest and Wine tasting were not to be missed!!!!!!!!!!!

First cruise I took the kids...second cruise I didnt. ;)
This enabled us to do a lot more the second time...Palo, Parasailing at CC, adult beach at CC, adult pool, and the clubs at night.

On my first two cruises I went with just the adults, this time I am taking my 5 year old nephew! I felt almost guilty watching all the little ones enjoying themselves knowing that my nieces/nephews were all home:( I can't wait to see his face when he sees the ship - it will be a surprise to him:eek:

Did the surial bath first two cruises, will not do on 3rd (only because we HAVE done it -- you should do it once!)

Do not miss opportunities for family portraits while everyone is dressed up!

Can't wait for chocolate souffle and tarimisu from Palo's, they are awesome!

Didn't get to enjoy adult areas (nightclubs, pool) first 2 because we had the kids. This time I'm really looking forward to seeing adult beach at CC, going to adult shows at night, sitting around and READING, trying the Rainforest Room at Spa.

Will ask for a bowl of peanut M&M's at Scoops. (except this time I can't send my kids to get it for me!!!!)

Didn't order room service 1st time, didn't make that mistake again!
the list could go on and on and on...........

did you say bowl of peanut m&m's at Scoops?
I KNOW both DH & DS will be there!

We won't bother to go to the interviews with the Cast Members. We went to a lot of the talks, which were interesting to hear once. The "special guest" was a guy from Imagineering, who turned out to be one of the people working on Pop Century and it was pretty dull. The interviews with the stage folks were pretty dull too.

This time we will do a lot less, sit more, veg more, hot tub and pool more. We hope not to race around from daytime function to function, character drawing, golf games. That way we hope to have more energy after dinner and major shows to go to the adult activities. All the activity during the day exhausted the kids and they were never able to make the evening kid's club activities either. We were all in bed by 10:00.

DEFINATELY do the wine tasting I have done it three times already, they change the wines each tasting,,who knows I might do it twice on this next cruise, we never seem able to coordinate doing it twice...

LOL Barb - you need to ask? ;)

I promise to NEVER tell anyone on a Disney ship that I don't feel well!
They will have to pry my cold dead body off the floor first!!

Next time I hope to make it to the formal.

I would remember, it is a vacation and not do the rat race thing.

Take my Mom on her first cruise. :)

I agree with you - I will NEVER tell anyone on DCL that I dont feel well - hopefully noone else will either!

Won't do excursions on Castaway Cay, takes to much time out of a already short day.

Encourage the children to go to the club early in the week to make friends.

Stay on the ship and refuse to get off :)

I will definitely do more snorkeling on my second trip. The only snorkeling I did on our first cruise was at Castaway Cay, and I fell in love with it. It was so beautiful and peaceful just floating and looking at all the beauty that lies beneath the clear water there. My excursions well definitely include beach and snorkeling.

To Do:
>Get to the terminal EARLY (by 11am) - was the biggest screw up on the first cruise arriving after 2pm
>Arrive Hungry - hopefully Rae left some shrimp :) The embarkation lunch buffet is very good and a taste of things to come.
>Sunscreen BEFORE leaving your room every morning (except for the day you do brunch in Palo, sunscreen afterwards)
>The inbetween shows at 7:45 and then the "adult" version later in the evenings
>Pools on embarkation day (wear your swimsuit under your clothes or bring in your carryon.
>"Ditching" your carryons in you room after you first board - even though the room is not ready for you then.

To Skip:
>Nassau if going on a 3 or 4 night cruise
>Going into the Goofy pool later in the afternoon - the water starts getting a little "thick"
