Ok.. I am embarrassed to say that I didn't know the first time we went to Disney
:spoken with hillbilly twang: That big ol'e silver gold ball had a ride inside?!?

next??

i think that on your first visit you can only know a tiny amount of what there is to know about WDW. I always research my visits a lot and I am still finding out things almost every time I come on here. Thats what I love about it!

I didn't know that it would be the first of many trips....I thought it was a "once in a lifetime".

sooo very much.
Stands out in my mind- didn't know a thing about how the buses ran (thought I did!)

I didn't know that I should take total advantage of every single photopass photgrapher that I saw so that I would actually have more than one picture of me and my kids together at DIsney. And I should have bought the whole cd and not just one picture. Now I know better :) :thumbsup2

I was only 11 the first time we went. I didn't know much about anything park related. All I cared about was seeing the big cheese! :yay:

Me neither. But I learned and had over 100 taken the next year. I even told the photographer's what I wanted when I got to them. LOL

In 2004, our first trip, we didn't know about the "build your own robot" in Epcot.

Sadly, it's gone now :sad1: , but at least DS has about a dozen of the robots.

I went with my friend for the first time. We rode Space Mt, Jungle Cruise, TTA, BTM, and did the racecars because we thought everything else was for young kids (we were in 10th grade). Thats ALL we did!

That it would became a great place to vacation with the family :)

Please note that my first time there was shortly after Magic Kingdom opened and so for the first few years that I went there was only MK but that didn't stop us on going often :lmao:

I never expected the 2nd time I'd go there to be going with my own husband and 4 children... I didn't even want a husband (boys smelt LOL) let alone a child... heaven forbid 4 of them!... but then again I was 7 (and if you'd have told me 2 of those children would be lurgy-carrying boys I'd probably have ran screaming into the night at age 7 LOL)

I never knew I wouldn't get the chance to go with my own granny- she didn't come with us in our 1985 visit as she wanted my parents to enjoy it with just the 4 of us (mom, dad, me and sister) by the time we saved the money to go again (we're in the UK) granny was too ill to travel and so we never went back... now we're going back I'm 29, my sister is 32 and she's going to be a disbride, my kids are 10, 5, 4 and 1 and they're getting to do what I never did- walk down main street with granny and grandad, I know it'll mean the world to my mother.

I do remember snow white telling me she liked my dress though and I remember to this DAY what dress it was, what shoes I was wearing... my eldest is 10 and I still remember it like yesterday!

:tinker:

I didn't know that a grumpy:coffee: chick like me would love the magicpixiedust: more than my DS5!! And that I would quickly become obessed about when I could get back!! ]

I didn't know Yak and Yeti had just opened. My sister and I both thought it was going to open a week or two later. It looked open, but we walked right by... waaaaaaaaah! I didn't know until we came home and I logged onto the dis.
Had no clue what the Fantasmic line was like. Thoughts of that line strike fear into my heart and soul!
