I never win anything ---- if there were 6 entries in a contest and 5 of them were mine, my name would not get picked. I just have no luck at all.

Lol this is me. I've never won anything. This year I didn't even win a free coffee during roll up the rim....very sad lol

We had a raffle at work and they were giving away LCD TVs, Ipads, Digital cameras, Ipods, 2 night stays at different resorts and I won... An electric skillet, the ones that are $20 at Walmart

The first three were through local radios stations. I think they are the best place to try to win things from. You aren't competing with as many people as a national contest. The second two were through the staff day at the university that I work at. The last three were through Facebook contests.

These are all over a period of 23 years.....

The biggest was a Disney Cruise through a friend's school raffle. DH bought 2 tickets @$5 each-- at the time, I gave him a hard time that the raffle tickets were so expensive and that he bought 2! We really enjoyed that cruise.

I won a Samsung tablet through a raffle at work. I didn't even know I had entered. They took names of people who filled out a feedback survey for a meeting and entered them into a drawing. I thought it was a scam when I got the email, they had to call and convince me!

Years back I won tickets to a concert for my favorite band. It was a private concert put on by the radio station and the only way to get tickets was to win. We spent weeks trying and I was beyond thrilled when I won. Not only did we go to the show, but we managed back stage passes and then ended up going out with the band after the show. That was just crazy.

We aren't even considered the lucky ones in our family! DH's mom wins *everything* -- she has won all kinds of trips over the years - I've lost track. She's won jewelry, appliances and superbowl things, winning lottery tickets. We always write her name down when we enter contests!

Our kids teams and our community have tricky tray raffles often and we win at those frequently, small things like gift cards, baskets of stuff. I normally let my kiddos put the tickets in and re-donate anything we win that is usless to us. My kids like the winning so they will look for the bucket with the least tickets One year we won 5 of these crochet kits at the PTA tricky tray, I donated them to the summer swim team and yep we won them again! Donated them again to winter siwm team and won 3 back, which then got donated ...to the PTA with strict instructions no to bid on any, but somehow we won one again. lol.

I'm lucky in casino as well. I'm not a gambler, but I've played a handful of times in my life. Once we were walking through the casino on our way back to our room in Atlantis on our last night there and I had a dollar left from the cash I had planned to spend , so I put it in an old nickel slot machine they had off in a corner. Got down to my last nickel, won a little made one more bet and won over $1,000. Course in Atlantis that was pretty much spent on our party of 9 for lunch the next day
Our closest Starbucks here is in a Casino. My hubby and I went out for a coffee a couple weeks ago and while there used the ATM to get $ for the babysitter. I took an extra $20 out and we put it in the monopoly machine and I won on the second bet, I think it was $480! Cashed out and went home immediately! Funny thing was hubby was complaining that he had just had to pay the dentist $400, and something else and when we added in the sitter it was the exact amount. So I just handed it to him and told him to let me know when he needs me to make some more

I won a $250 gift card to a fancy-schmancy hotel in Philadelphia once, in a twitter contest! I was shocked they picked my tweet as their favorite. We used it at their amazing restaurant on New Year's Eve (2011 into 2012). That's the only thing I've ever won, but it was so awesome!

I just won a Coach purse from one of our local radio stations about an hour ago!!

I'll go to an event at one of our local credit unions on May 11th to pick it up, where I'll get the chance to play for $100,000.

Other than that, the only other thing I can remember winning is concert tickets from another radio station...in 1993.
