What did YOU win?

So just curious to see how many lucky people are out there. My mother constantly enters drawings and has won a plethora of items including a few big "national" contests. The best being either the Monster Energy dirt bike or the complete line of Scuba Pro gear with lessons and trip to Belize. I am not so lucky, as the only thing I seem to win is Jury summons.

So lets hear it! What have you won?

I'm with you! I enter all the time and only won Jury Duty too! LOL.

Does your mom have any hints? Does she follow a specific blog?

Had to chuckle at the jury duty comment. After 40 yrs of never getting summoned, I get to do jury duty the week after next.

But that aside, I can honestly say I have never won anything, other than the occasional $2 on instant lottery tickets when I splurge on those.

My parents won a trip to WDW and a new Ford Mustang when I was 7. That was one of only 2 trips we ever went on as kids, so it was a big deal! Plus I ended up driving that Mustang to school when I was old enough-- it was a sweet ride!

Me? We never win anything. Not for lack of trying. If I do win, it's usually a lifetime supply of dog food for a dog we don't have, or free tickets to some horrible play no one wants to see, or something.

A romance package with dinner, gift certificate for the mall and a pandora bracelet.

When I was younger I competitively twirled baton and when we went to competitions we would buy raffle tickets and no fail I would win something. I think I walked away with a couple curling irons and other things in the 5 yrs I did that. More recently, last year I won a thirty-one bag and a game worn jersey.

Two weekends ago I bought some raffle tickets at the hockey game I am a season ticket holder and I actually won the game worn hockey jersey I have been wanting all year. I have been buying tickets for the last 10 yrs for jerseys (not every game but just when I wanted a particular jersey) and never one...I finally won this one.

I have a friend that wins everything she enters, it seems! Makes me crazy.

Well as for myself, I won free chicken from Tyson for a recipe. LOL Oh and a Publix gift card from some kids food thing.

My husband won Disney waterpark passes last year, that was fun. He also won tickets to see the last shuttle launch.

That is all I can think of that we have ever won.

I won a 2011 Kia Sportage- fully loaded. It had everything except leather seats. $30,000 vehicle.

I forgot I also one $1000 one time. I entered a contest at a small local store, I was the winning entry for that store. Then I had to go to a mall about an hour away and get in a machine that blows fake money all around you. The person who grabbed the most money in 30 seconds won $1000. I blew away the competition. I have also won smaller prizes (less than $100) on scratch tickets. After I won the Kia we were on our way to the casino and I won about $600 that weekend.

I won 2 tvs in college at places I worked. I also won one of those spa things you could attach to the side of a tub. A guy I worked with offered to buy it for $50 so I sold it to him.

DH won an Apple TV last week.

DD won a drawing of Donald Duck (Dh's favorite) by Don Ducky Williams on the Magic one year. We saw him draw it. He took a picture with DD and the drawing too. We had it framed and in the matte the picture of Ducky and DD.

I occasionally enter sweepstakes, mostly the online variety. About 18 months ago I won my biggest prize ever, a top-of-the line stainless steel Bosch dishwasher from the Rachelray.com webiste, ARV $1899. I desperately needed a decent dishwasher for our family of 6, so this was a major blessing! I have also won a $500 Gap gift gard, four one-day passes to Six Flags and several free movie passes over the last couple of years. Still hoping to win that elusive Disney vacation!

I once won tickets at my supermarket for a $XXXX free shot at some 76's game. I went through all the paper work, only to find it was on a sunday ( not an option for me) and that I couldn't give it to one of my brothers ( who can actually throw a ball ). I felt bad for the people on the other side as it was pretty last minute that I had to give it back.
I haven't ever won anything major. Won a free slice of cheese cake from the cheesecake factory earlier this year on Facebook.

My brother won a bike once at the mall, but I never win anything major.

The best I do is at office pools, not huge money, but the money has all gone to my Disney fund. I came in second place in the season long football pool and the March madness brackets, so that was $60 total. I won the super bowl squares for $100. Not too exciting, a whole year of winnings will barely cover one meal at CRT!

A bunch of little things over the years. This year I won a really nice LG Bluetooth head set and a $1000 visa gift card.

At a friend's tastefully simple party I won a free dinner kit and from Disney Movie Rewards I won extra points. That's about the extent of my luck as I have entered too many contents to think off but never seem to really win big.

NOTHING! I have the worst luck. My mom buys everyone lottery tickets every year for Christmas and I'm the ONLY one who never gets anything.

I also enter a number of sweepstakes and donation money where prizes are drawn. So far:
my son (4 at the time) won a pedal push car
I won $5,000 from a local radio station (in 1997).
a diamond ring from Lifetime's The Starter Wife a few years ago
and a couple of weeks ago I won an Ipad mini from a local news station.

The kids are always winning t shirts and jerseys.

trip to NYC on Amtrack for 2 (rail tickets, gc to American Girl Store and tickets to the show at AG). When the ticket guy learned I had two girls he let me get two kids train tickets plus my adult ticket!

I won a spot in a healthy challenge contest from our newspaper - I got 4 months with a personal trainer 2x week, free gym membership, free dance lessons from Author Murray, free medical testing, visit to dietician, gc to the mall for new clothes, free makeover including hairstyle/cut (which I hated), free home exercise equipment, and a bunch of smaller stuff. But I didn't win the big prize, but I lost 60 pounds

I won a stereo, amazon gift cards, a hello kitty package from Target with nighties for my girls, pillows and other Hello Kitty stuff, tickets to Hershey Park, dinner and a movie, theater tickets, books, dvds, etc over the years, plus a few hundred dollars from the lottery or scratchers. I win 9 times out of 10 on scratchers, sometimes more than I paid. When I go to craft fairs I always win the vendor's raffles. There were years when I won half of those. I am just a plain lucky girl.
