What did you study?

I college-prepped through the first three years of high school (late 80s), so I believe my junior year was physics, German, Spanish 3, English 3, a computer class and some kind of math (not pre-calc :crazy2:). That changed during the summer between junior & senior year when I joined the Air Force in the delayed enlistment program. I enlisted, but was delayed 11 months; that gave me enough time to finish my senior year. So, my senior year, I took only what was required (English & a semester of civics) and Advanced Biology (that got me first lunch!). The rest of the day I worked in the office, answering phones, making copies, and writing passes.

Thankfully, I took those harder classes in high school. It took another 15 years but I did get a degree. :)

For my GCSEs, I took Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Music, French, German, English Lit and Language, IT and Geography :)

What about University? Did you go? I tried twice - Law and Psychology - but crashed and burned on both occasions, mental health wise. For years, I was idle and recuperating, but as of late I have picked a vocation - Hypnotherapy - and have taken numerous upper diplomas, certificates and (comparatively worthless) awards in it. I should be up and practicing any day now.

I'll go with the US equivalent, I did AP calculus, physics, and computer science in high school. I also took the standard English 3 and 4, US history, Spanish, and a linear algebra and differential equations class. So mainly math and physics.

In high school, I took four AP (college-level) courses in high school: European History, English Literature, Psychology, and Statistics. I took the tests and earned college credits for Psych and English.

I started my university major as Theater Production. I absolutely loved the work, but the teachers were awful (working professionals in the field, but with zero teaching experience) and the hours/culture were not something I thought I could manage as I got older. Work isn't steady, the more successful you are the crazier the hours (Bway is 8+ shows a week!), and lots of drinking/drugs. One thing my professors did get right--you needed to go to the bar and socialize in order to get your next gig.

Ended up swapping my major to English. Took a few years but eventually landed on my feet in corporate comms.
