Hmm.

This trip is DH and myself:

Length of stay: September 7-15

Roundtrip airfare from BNA-MCO: $163.20 (gotta love SWA!)
Two nights at HRH at US/IOA : $365.72 (APH discount)
Tickets to US/IOA: free - bought AP's last year.
Food at US/IOA: $50 - I have 4 free Movie/Meal coupons
Six nights at Contemporary: $1789 ( includes dining & 1 day MYW)
Five day PHP with 4 plusses: free - leftover from last year
Nine days car rental: $171.98 (Alamo full-size)
Miscellaneous, gas and tips: $250

So our grand total is around $2800...that's really close to what we usually spend. What's so bad, is that I connived DH into letting me book by saying, "Oh, they're having free dining again, it will be a cheap trip!" Little does he know, we're staying at CR. It's a surprise for our anniversary!

For us, free dining offer was best with Pop - something I'm a little worried about.

Had I waited 2 months to book airfare, I could have saved an additional $180 or so, but I wanted to get into Orlando at a certain time. At this price, I still feel the trip was a bargain, and would do it again in a heartbeat. This will be the 2nd year in a row we will be using the Disney Dining Package for free, and if offered again next year, we will probably make it 3 years in a row.
