Tabasco in beer. I call it fire beer.



I had crab cakes with a fruit salad and steamed brocolli.

DBF doesn't like hot sauce so much so I left it out for him. lol I love hot sauce and would have added it but just decided to go the easy way and leave it out of mine.

We went to the Madonna Inn on our way home yesterday, I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with a side salad, it was good.

Yes, Skiingfast - you can stuff that crescent dough with just about anything. Sometimes we put a roll into a muffin tin then put fixins on top, or just pinch 2 crescent rolls together to make a calzone rectangle. Haven't tried elk or veggie burger though.



Last night...ham of course, asparagus, au gratin potatoes, pineapple casserole, hot cross buns, chocolate dipped strawberries, coconut carrot bunny butt cake, lemon bars, chocolate dipped pretzels.

OK so yes the food was Easter fare; ham with a most delicious glaze, creamed garlic potatoes, French cut greens, yellow corn, and of course hot buns.... I would add to that, but seeing how some already consider me crazy, I dare not.... anyway, for dessert Orange cake.

I am now returning to Strunk and Wagnall's Manual of Style. If anyone would like to cast stones, please make it chocolate instead, far tastier I am certain.

We stuff crescent rolls with chocolate chips and bake them, instant chocolate breakfast rolls.

Last night we ate at Rubio's, I had 2 chicken tacos with rice and beans and lots of yummy salsa.

Skiingfast - lamb sounds excellent, and someday my kids' taste will refine and I'll be able to eat adult food again within my own house.

Oh almost forgot, if I am really lucky she will include bunny butt... I kind of feel sorry for the bunny, but... she Cagirlie, not the bunny, although actually her too, for she sent me an email recently, anyway, Cagirlie assured me that no bunnies real or imagined were harmed during the making, and baking of said bunny butt cake... I just hope that I do not find any hairs in my cake, unless they are mine, which can be scary enough, believe me.

Last night I made pork chops, rice a roni and asparagus. It was yummy!
The night before I went to dinner with my friend, we went to a Japanese place, I had Ramen noodles with Miso broth, cucumber salad and flaming mushrooms.....so good!

Panda, there was a band meeting last night and I'm fighting another cold.......I feel like I just got over the last one! Anyway, I had chow mien, Beijing beef, chicken with mushrooms.

I decided to try out Kay's recipes for squirrel and also frog's legs, as seen on Duck Dynasty. Let us just say that I am not any good whatsoever in catching either squirrels or frogs, so I noshed upon a ham and cheese sandwich, which no, I did not catch the pig either. Some one else went and done that for me, and was nice enough so as to put a section of it in a can, which was then sold in a grocery store. Now if the local grocery stores might be interested in carrying fresh squirrel and frogs, like they do lobsters and tuna etc. then that might be interesting.
