I had, chicken(grilled with a lemon garlic marinade), sea bass marinated and grilled in lemon and garlic! Coleslaw, bread and a 3 cheese risotto!

Tonight I am going to happy hour with BFF, and we may be having happy hour food!

This is pathetic but DH and I had Cheerios for dinner last night! We ended up eating late and I was too tired to cook and DH was too tired to go get fast food.

Tonight, I had a vegatable soup with some odds and ends from the vegatable drawer in the fridge and put some hamburger in it. With a mixed green salad and bread.

Bob, what winery? We are talking about heading to Monterey this weekend. Need to get at least 1 more use out of our passes before they expire on the 30th of Sept. I love the local wineries, such good wines out here.

Dinner last night was salami, brie and havarti cheeses, cornichones, couscous salad and hummus with pita chips. Super good. I had some wine as well. We weren't super hungry because we ate a lot at the wedding reception, that food was gooooood!!!!

Talbott, where our neighbor Sal pours for the tasting room. My wife and Sal's wife went out for lunch, then went to the winery to say hi to Sal. While there, they did some tasting, and my wife picked up a bunch of wine. We've long been big fans of Talbott's Pinot Noir. But we've now learned that they make a very nice Chardonnay, too

Kerri, I'd love to meet you in Monterey this weekend, but DW & I are taking off for Chicago to tend to my mother, who broke her hip a couple of months ago. Darn, another missed opportunity.

Oh man Bob!! How long will you be with your Mom? Our passes are good thru the end of September, is it doable another weekend for you? I really would love to get together. I'm so putting that winery on our list of "things to do" when we are there. A tasting of 7 wines for only $8.50, that's awesome! I have tried a few Pinot Noir's but haven't found one I like that much, I'm looking forward to trying it at Talbot's.

Last night for dinner we had stir fry. YUM!! Tonight is crazy, there's a lot going on so I think DD10 and I will have dinner at her Open House, they are doing a plate of BBQ for $3 a person.

For wine tasting, Talbott is nice, but A Taste of Monterey is more convenient and has more variety.
