Does not a Shepard's pie normally include meat of some kind? I believe so,therefore your "pie" is more like something that Bugs Bunny would dine upon, only make sure to include carrots in his meal, otherwise no deal.

I called it sort of shepeards pie because it was with beef.

Last night some beef casserole and salad. It was alright I ate it quick to get out the door in a hurry. So really didn't take the time to enjoy it.

I dined with royalty again.................. King Burger and his court. It was bloody, it was juicy, it was tasty, it can bring out your inner zombie! Oh! Then there was the cheeseburger with fries.

Oh Gisele, I sure wish I could dine with royalty too. All the calories are just too heavy for me any more if I don't want to turn into a giant ball of Paula Dean buttah. So I will live vicariously through you. Do have one of those apple turnovers for me, and add a *large* order of fries! (beware: Paula Dean food mentioned below)


So I thought of something different : (well, we had leftover party food, and not that I eat much of this Gisele, but couldn't let it go to waste

Warm crab dip with garlic crostini
Little Smokies in bbq sauce
Those sausage, Bisquick cheese balls (a Paula Deen recipe)
Herbs du Provence veggies

Pork chops baked with a spicy(though it wasn't) sauce on top. Some more spinach, pear, crasin, walnut salad. Twice baked potato which was good.

Had a ruben tonight that hit the spot.

Last minutes. Thawed a couple meatballs and put some spaghetti sauce and parmesan cheese on them for the second microwave cycle. A little just lettuce salad and mash potato on the side.
