What did you get for Valentine's Day?

DD- Gave me a card and some stickers :cutie:
DS- Gave me a card and a red rose, he was so cute!

DH- gave me a card and flowers, and then a headache! I swear the man can not make it through one holiday without turning it sour! :(

The best Valentines present ever from my husband.....
After 4 years of nagging, not just from me, but from his brother who was diagnosed four years ago with colon cancer; my husband went in this morning for a colonoscopy. His first ever. He's 51. They found a polyp the size of a strawberry and removed it. It is off to the lab but they said they were pretty sure it's precancerous. If he had waited just 3-6 more months to come in they said, he might not have been so lucky, and at the least would have surely faced major surgery to remove it.
Hey, what can top that?:)

That's great! The best gift I've seen so far.

I know it's early but DH just told me he got me NOTHING for Valentine's Day. Not even a card- or an email card!! You know why??:confused3

Because it snowed today!! I got him and the kids their gifts two days ago because I knew it was going to snow. He could have done the same.

He really is a great DH so I'm just floored by this. It's the first time in 20 years together that I got nothing on VD.

So what did you get? Let me live through you guys today.

EDIT: I just got a Snicker's Bar so I have to take back a little of what I said. He always gets me a Snickers. I think I was more uposet about having no chocolate than anything :rotfl:

It snowed here, too. So I did not get me anything. He did stop on the way home in treacherous conditions to get me a card. He also gave me an IOU on the gift.

DS & DD got me a doz roses and hand made cards. ExDH got me a doz roses too :confused3 (he never remembered before why now?). DBF didn't get me anything but took me for a long ride on his motorcycle. :moped: So out of character for me to be sitting on the back of a hog flying down the road hangin on for dear life. I had such a blast. That was the best date ever.

I got a pink 4GB iPod Nano. Listening to it now. DH broke the rules...we'd agreed to put money in our WDW fund. Since I STUCK to the plan, he got nuttin'.

I did NOT get the yellow sapphire ring I wanted. But since it's the same price as our trip to WDW, I wasn't holding my breath!!

All I got was Snow & Ice!:sad1:

My sweet husband got me a single red rose bud and a silly card that was very him.

DD brought home a small pillow she made, a "wreath" of paper hearts with all our names and two giant handmade cards.

DS told me he's making me something but it wasn't finished in time. (He did let me see his progress report, and said he hopes the only B he's getting will come up to an A before the next report card.)

In return, my family got clean toilets :lmao: and their favorite dinner. DS got noddles tossed with olive oil, garlic, basil and parmesean cheese, DD got homemade bean and cheese burritos with lettuce and sour cream, and DH got MEAT with a little helping of potatoes.

My dad got me a tiffany & co. bracelet to match my necklace I got in new york 2 years ago:

My mom got me a dozen roses and lots of candy, and I got both my parents cards and candy.

I've been thinking of you. In a nice, hope the baby and Wendy are doing ok kind of way, not a stalker-ish kind of way. ;)
Now THAT'S a nice thing to read. Although I don't mind mild-mannered stalkers.

Don't hold your breath on the next trip report. I have a feeling we won't be going back until Junior is at least 6.

Nice to read about everyone's Valentine celebrations!! :flower3:

List us 'ole foggies' among those who still enjoy celebrating Valentine's Day!!

Yep, still give Valentine tokens to all our adult kiddos and grands! :goodvibes

I woke up to a beautiful pot of red and yellow verigated Tulips, a chocolate heart and a lovely sentimential card from DH :lovestruc . He loves dark chocolate, so I gave him a box of dark chocolate hearts..

Our area was hit by an ice storm which canceled our restaurant outings. Our thoughtful SonIL's got Olive Garden dinner take outs and we all had a nice get together at home in spite of the weather. For dessert we were graced with delicious chocolate covered strawberries and goody tokens from the grands. :goodvibes
