What did you get for FREE dining

I was only on hold for 7 mins after trying to call about 15 times!!!


I changed my current reservation for 16th - 20th November POFQ standard room to Wilderness Lodge standard room. I was paying for dining but since I got it free it was only $195 to upgrade to the deluxe.

Im so jealous you got a standard room. They told me I couldn't and had to get a Bunk Bed Room.

Upgraded from Pop Century to Port Orleans Riverside Royal Room Garden View for 10/26-11/2. So excited! I've had my heart set on POR, and really kind of hoped for a royal room but couldn't do it UNLESS free dining was offered.

I think my little boy is going to LOVE the room, and the LCD fireworks on the headboard! Not to mention the boat to DTD!

Pop Century preferred room from Oct. 24-28. Quick Service FD. I was on hold from 7-8:30am, so exactly 90 minutes but so excited I got what I wanted. Now I have to research how exactly to use the QSFD because I've never had it before, a little nervous but hopefully I don't screw it up too bad!With the money I'm saving on food I'm thinking about going to the Halloween party!

You got a standard room at POR? When did you book - this morning or late last night online? Surprised standard was even included in the offer, looked like it was Garden View or above. I've kind of given up hoping for a standard room with most offers nowadays.

POR Royal Room 12/16 - 24; really wanted preferred but none available. Now I can get preferred for 12/16 - 20 but have never done a split stay...could I get FD for 12/21 - 24 (3 nights)? Don't know if I could talk DH into moving since they are taking their golf clubs

Wow, you were able to book 4 nights and get free dining? The website looked like it said it had to be 6 nights... I would LOVE only 4 nights!! How did you do that?

I called at 6:00 and got straight thru, took about 3 minutes to go over the prompts.
I got All Star Music, 7 nights with a 5 day park hopper, and upgraded to the regular dining plan. I also included the insurance.
We are going Oct. 1-8.
Now just have to book our dining reservations.

It is only a 3 night min requirement, the 6 nights is just an example.

Switched from AoA suite to CBR (2 rooms) dec 12-21. Saved $3k from rack rate for same trip at CBR. Moving from AoA (paying for dining) to CBR and adding a day was about same price.

We switched from POFQ standard to CSR standard. Our original price was $3500 and now we are paying $2600!

Boy I'm glad my TA didn't have to do all that. I booked POP back in March for Dec 3rd to 10th. Called Disney in April I had a FD pin. Called my TA and within an hour I was all set. I upgraded at $19 a day. Still saved us over $2000 for 3 rooms. I see now my dates aren't included in the FD.

We got CBR preferred room 11-21 to 11-30. I think it was a total savings of $1555.

I also saw that 6 night minimum stay on the website before I called reservations. When I asked the agent about it she said that was a mistake. As long as you stayed I think it was a minimum of 3 nights and had at least a 2 day ticket you could get free dining. So I breathed a huge sigh of relief and booked the trip!

We wanted POR which we have stayed at for FD before but they were sold out. :-( The best we could do is ASMu 2 rooms, 10/31-11/9. Even asked for POP but they were sold out too.

There's a standard room available now online for October 27-nov 1 - I am so tempted to grab it but we need through the 3rd!
