What did you get during the Year of the Million Dreams Giveaway?

We got dream ears before in line at soarin!!son got a everest pin from Elton at park rope drop,,epcot,....:cool1:

We had 3 trips, totaling 25 days in the parks during the promotional years. We won dream fastpasses on the Pangani Forest trail on our second trip. I still think we got the best "free" souvenir which will easily be the most expensive souvenir ever from WDW. Our triplet boys are due in April :hourglass

During the two years of the YOMD promotion I was in the parks a total of 35 days and I got SQUAT!!! No fastpasses, no ears, no night in the Castle, nothing ... but 35 wonderful days. :goodvibes

Four trips during the year and one time we won dream fast passes at the studio. But during one trip we were staying at POP and I was doing laundry. :laundy: Just as I was about to put all the laundry into two dryers a maintenance guy came in and said I could dry everything for free. He turned on the machines for me. I count that as a "dream" win! :cheer2:

We got a bunch of the blue YOMD ears - we were among the first people on Goofy's Barnstormer one morning, so as we exited the ride, we all got ears. Since there was no line for Barnstormer, we just kept going through the queue again and again - each time, we were handed ears! Until their stack was gone.

So we had ears to give as gifts when we got home!

The only thing we got in the ~2.5 years of a million dreams was a better parking spot at Epcot one visit. Since we visit ~30 days per year, it appears that our luck wasn't very good.

Oh well, we still enjoyed Disney! :thumbsup2

In 2 trips to WDW we got, DreamFastpasses at Animal Kingdom (dinosaur), Pin & Lanyard at Magic Kingdom (Buzz), and Hats at Hollywood studios (toy story) :cool1:

In our 8 trips during the promotion we didn't get anything. I even stalked a dream giver and asked her questions!

THankfully the kids were too young to know they missed out on anything!

We did not get anything special, just a plain old Fabulous vacation!

I won one Dream FP out of 3 trips and over 20 park days. On the last day of our December 08 trip, I was alone, yet again, at Epcot. I saw the Dream Team heading for TT and asked if it was a good time to be riding TT, one of them shouted back that for some, it was a very good time to be riding TT. So, I went up the single rider line, all the way to the top, even with a 20 min wait time posted outside. At first they didn't let me in, but then the guy recognized me from outside and invited me in. :cool1:

Our December 08 trip that we planned for over a year and a half included Corey's mom. Her mom was all up for the trip. It was supposed to give them some mother daughter time. Make some great memories and such, but her mom wasn't as honest with us as she could have been about just how bad her health had become. I don't think that she has even accepted for herself about how little she is still able to do. Because of this, Corey spent a large part of our trip caring for her mom instead of enjoying her mom and our vacation.

When I won that Dream FP on the last day, I finally had something that I could give back to Corey to give her a little silver lining. When they finally arrived at Epcot sometime, just after noon, because her mom wasn't up and out to any park before noon the whole trip, after we finally got into the swing of hitting all of the Santas and Storytellers, I gave Corey the Dream FP and told her to go play and I took care of her mom. At first, she didn't want to take it, but she did and she was very glad that she did. She didn't like not being able to do stuff with me, which I totally understand that but she was glad to be able to do something, which was a freedom that she didn't have for most of the trip.

If I was only going to be blessed with just one Dream out of the promotion, I think that I got the best one possible. I was able to help my partner to enjoy a little Disney magic. For that, I will always be grateful to Disney's Dream Team!

The kids and I, on Mother's Day weekend got fastpasses at AK. I was so excited!! The kids were looking at me like I was crazy...ok...so what if I am..but that's besides the point!:crazy2:

We got the Dream Fastpasses at MK last year when we were coming off Peter Pan. It was so fun! We didn't use up all the rides on them(2 of us were pregnant and couldn't go on the big rides), so we gave them away to a family who was just coming into the parks when we were on our way out. They were so excited and that made our day even better!

We won an extra hour party at Epcot. We were heading into Journey into the Imagination and were surpised to see the queue stretching outside the door. Just inside were the Dream Squad giving out wristbands and lovely big badges saying "Where my dream came true..."

My husband, daughter (5) and I loved the party outside test track. She spent the whole time dancing with characters while my husband and I took turns to ride Mission Space and Test Track with no wait.

Some people on Test Track were just doing laps for the hour! Not even getting out of the car.

And were also got a free choc chip cookie at Blizzard Beach. :lmao:

Seeing the Dream Squad always gave me butterflies after this!!:cheer2:

We got dream fastpasses at Animal Kingdom. We ended up not using them because the lines were so short, but they did come in handy for Kali River Rapids when we got to cut to the front of the line.

We had 3 trips during the promotion and just before leaving on our last trip, we rode HM and got dream ears on our way out. Exactly one year from that day until we arrive again.

We didn't "win" anything in either one of our 2 trips, but my then 4 year old was made into a honorary "fairy godmother" for the day. We were in one of the stores on Main St looking at princess costumes and we were approached by 3 employees. They made her feel so special when they gave her a wand and put together an outfit on the manequin in front of a ton of people walking on Main St....and they gave her a certificate so we would never forget it!
So cute!

We had one really long trip where DD got the Fairy Godmother on our first night there, then got to wake up Tinkerbell, introduce the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and JR Chef of the Day at Yachtsman Steakhouse. She got certificates for all of these, and DH got one commemorating his Birthday dinner at California Grill. I got nothing but pixie dust and magical memories from it all - and I carry that with me all the time! pixiedust:
