On Saturday we tidied the house in the morning. My housemate's best friend came over at lunchtime and we went out for a great meal at a local pub. Spent the afternoon at home looking at stuff on the computer (photos and Disney stuff) and had a home made platter style meal for tea. For the evening we went to a gig (The Subways) as we got free tickets, after the show we went clubbing. Bands at gig were very good, club was a bit rubbish really, not much good music - felt like a bit of a waste of money.

Today we lazed around the house for the morning talking until our friend left. Afternoon was spent updating our webzine and I played the Sims. Evening has been watching TV, sorting out our ebay sales and making sure our webzine is ready for the usual Monday morning onslaught of emails!

Pretty good weekend in all - how was yours?

(PS, I pulled at the gig but wasn;t really feeling in the mood for random blokes to start talking to me so I feigned that housemate was my boyfriend! Wish I'd let him have my email addy now :( !)

Well Saturday I worked all day and Sunday I cleaned the house most of the day, so fun weekend for me!! :)

We joined a Health Club this weekend. So have spent some time in the gym, swimming and in the jacuzzi :)

I worked Saturday. Had a night in with my boyfriend Saturday night.
Sunday, went tile shopping in the morning, and then met my friend for lunch, very nice, I then visted my best friend and his family, spent the rest of the day relaxing.

So yes I did enjoy it, thanks for asking!! :earboy2:

Its just a shame it's all over too quickly. :(

Waiting for friday!!! :hourglass

I've been stuck at home with poorly children all weekend! I'm still stuck at home actually though I should be at work

Have this cold virus so spent the entire weekend at home. Did manage to do some internet shopping though ;)

Was a bit boring this weekend as I was on early shifts so had to get up at
4:50am both mornings!!! Just went out for a curry on Saturday night!!! :cool1:

We went to Crufts for the day on Saturday :)

Had a great time looking at all the different breeds and working round the halls and the exhibiters stalls.
It was a very tiring day though, lot's of walking and the crowds were murder!

Good training for WDW at Christmas :)

As this is a family board, I couldn't possibly comment on either question ;).

Actually, I spent most of it sorting out photo albums of previous trips. I've been busy Photoshopping and then ordering prints from Photobox for the past week or so. I now have all my albums up straight and captioned. I just have one trip to sort out - last July. I made the mistake of buying a scrapbook rather than an album. I've done 3 'sets' so far since we returned! Only another 15 or so to go ... :rolleyes2

Had a great weekend at Center Parcs (Longleat) :Pinkbounc

DH and I went with our two DDs (15 and 20) and shared a place with our friends and their two DSs (18 and 20). We've holidayed with them many times in the past, but not since the kids were all pre-teen, so it was a bit of a gamble on how they'd get on! Anyway, it was really good fun and all worked very well.

Between the eight of us we did:
cycling (an awful lot of it and I'm still saddle-sore!)
swimming
ten-pin bowling
badminton
football
laser-clay shooting
archery
fencing
table-tennis
falconry
mountain-bike trekking

oh, and a bit of eating and drinking too! ;)

We made a long weekend of it and got back yesterday afternoon after dropping DD back at uni on our way home. I'm still in recovery mode and working my way through the pile of laundry

I went to Brockenhurst with some mates (No wives or kids!) so yes, I had a GREAT time :rolleyes1

We also went to Crufts on Saturday,it was the first time that "Gundog" day was on a weekend for a few years so we took the DD's with us they loved it we had a great day.
All those Flat-Coats in one place their sooooo lovely :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Have been decorating mt DS's bedroom has taken 3 weeks to get the bloomin' woodchip wallpaper off the walls (revolting stuff - its virtually indestructible) and have then had to sand walls, plaster and fill holes, reline the walls and paint. Of course he didn't want any old thing and had to design his bedroom as his 'windows on the world' room with a wall each of egypt and the pyramids, a caribbean scene, outer space and an underwater theme, all hand painted. I'm shattered. Am off on a caribbean cruise next tuesday (unfortunately not Disney) so am REALLY looking forward to relaxing in the sun.
Sorry, I know thats all a bit boring but am so relieved at finishing the room I had to get that off my chest!

Spent the weekend full of a cold/flu, having only managed about 4 hours sleep each of the nights, then had to deal with my 4 + 2 year old daughters during the days. Coupled with the fact that I was also having severe stability issues on my newly upgraded PC....why oh why did I decide to give AMD a second chance.
So not a good one for me I'm afraid :-(

carolfoy - that sounds like a fantastic bedroom! And to think, I just asked for mine to be lilac when I was a kid! I'm sure it looks great now it's done.
