What did you bring back from DIS CON?

I brought back a lovely sore throat and the beginnings of a cold. Well they did not start their pain till yesterday. My voice is so scratchy. Darn that stinking rain Thursday night and Friday. Of course it got cold and that did not help. Hope no one else is getting sick.

I haven't been sick Christine but, the rough, hoarse voice started Sat., after that nasty weather we had Friday!

I hope you're feeling better soon. I understand you have a lot of company with the cold/sore throat.

What did you bring back from DIS CON?

Friendships, new and renewed. Lots of laughs, many memories of many warm people, the ones we share time with here on these boards. I think I saw everyone I wanted to who was here and that was one heck of a lot of people.

Oh, I also got souveniers!! 15% discount at Epoct with the CP dinner package ~ WooHoo for Mousegears!! And, DC 10% discount at certain stores at DTD!

I also met soo many people for the 1st time, some expected, some surprising ~ ALL wonderful!! Two of them have posted here! Soo many smiling, happy faces! I've never before been 'recognized' while at WDW, until DISConII! Fantastic time!

No cold, thank goodness! I hate being sick.

Lets see, I was very good shopping down in WDW. I had money to burn, but didn't see much that I wanted. I bought two Mickey antenna balls to replace the ones that were stolen off our cars, a Haunted Mansion playset thing for the monorail, two Stitch plushies, and one of those Buzz Lightyear light up toys. I went back and forth on a Peace/Love/Mickey sweatshirt over and over, but decided it wasn't worth the $40 they wanted for it.

When I think back to our last minute vacation last week it was good. I have memories of meeting DISers both in EpCot and at MGM. Bought lots of Christmas presents - both for others and myself. Have lots of Christmas pictures that I would not have had if I went on my cruise. Thanks everyone for making my vaca one to remember after all.
My favorite souvenier from last weeks vaca is my VWL baseball hat which says "The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge" on the front and "Members are magical" on the back. And of course it has pins on it - WL, Tinkerbell, Christmas Eeyore, etc. And I bought more pins for my lanyard.
Oh yes, I also got Mickey ornaments for our tree, and 3 antenna toppers for my car. annnnnnnddddddd - ok I spoiled myself

I brought back a messed up knee from falling still haven't sen the Dr. about it and am hoping the weekend will help it if I rest it. I also brought back a heck of a cold, I hardly have a voice if you can believe it, and I am all congested. It was well worth it though

I bought quite a few things, too many to fit in my suitcase, so I had things shipped. Hopefully they're flying the friendly skies right now!

I did manage to save 2 traveller's cheques, DH was so proud of me.

I brought back priceless moments with my friends, tons of laughs and good times, tons of hugs and memories of a trip that I will never forget.
This has truly been the trip of a lifetime for me, I met some very special friends, some old friends, some new, I was blessed to be able to go to discon.
Oh yeah, and I also got myself a t-shirt!!! I went to Belz factory outlets and got quite a few things 50% or less of what I would have paid at WDW, and yes I got hooked on pins too!!

I came home suprisingly healthy this trip! Usually I get a post vacation cold... but so far so good! What I brought home from DIS CON were some great memories, some pictures, lots of buttons from the various events (hoop de doo, DATW, MVMCP, and my DIS CON button Brisully made), a light up Mickey pendant given to me by Ray Sharpton, a canadian pin and beautiful ornament from Snowwark, and a couple of "trinkets" for those that could not come with me.

this is a great thread - got me to thinking of what I brought back from WDW with me. Even while at the airport waiting to board I was in the Disney shops.
Have you guys seen the bookmarks that say "I only hope that we never loose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse- Walt Disney", thin silver w/ears on top. Will fit in a book no problem, not bulky at all.
DH had already told me not to bring him home Mickey souveniers so I didnt. However, at the airport when I showed him this bookmark he made me get him one too! and his mother too

Because of you guys I was able to pull out my WDW souveniers and think back to the good times and Im finding there are more and more of them. Disney Christmas decorations will go up today!

oh ya - of course I have to add that I brought back half my points for a MAGICal cruise next year! So I can say I brought back the anticipation of a cruise (not the disappointment of a cancelled cruise) Now hows that for positive thinking?!

I too brought back a nice cold (which has gotten worse as I've been home) as well as some awesome awesome memories, great pictures (which I have yet to download), great video which I need to watch yet, and some great shirts and other things for myself and my family (part of their Christmas gifts) and a nice scrapbook for all my pics from this year's trips (our last one ended on January 1 so I think I can count that!!!)

But most of all - the absolutely wonderful time, laughs and memories!!!!

I brought back a cold, too. Woke up Monday morning with a sore, scratchy throat and a stuffy nose. I’ve been taking plenty of Vitamin C and Echinacea, so hopefully I’ll nip it in the bud.

I also brought back some souvenirs for myself and my family (Xmas pins & earrings, antenna balls, chocolate, little cat figurines from China, etc.). And, of course, a lot of wonderful memories.

Tons of memories that will never be forgotten no matter what. I also picked up a few things for myself and my family. I am lucky, I left my sinus trouble behind me (I think it decided to take a hike on Friday) so I feel much better this week compared to last. Oh and I brought back about 1700 pictures to help keep those memories alive for quite some time.
