Pumpkin pies! It’s Canadian thanksgiving weekend!

I made apple crumb muffins.

I made a peach upside down cake using a spice cake mix, and served with peach ice cream. The spice cake was the perfect choice for fall flavor.

Starting my holiday (mostly cookie) baking because we will be out of town Dec. 1-12.
Yesterday baked gingersnaps and today Peanut Butter Blossoms.

I always start early....just usually not this early.
Disneyland trip Nov 10-15 and then WDW Dec 1-12 and we're hosting Christmas Eve, Christmas breakfast and dinner this year.

I made caramel apple cheesecake bars to take to a Halloween party tomorrow. I’ll let it set up in the fridge tonight and slice it tomorrow.

I am also not a decorator. I have tried, it didn’t go well.

Still so warm here, my frosting was just too warm.....but it will taste good.

Well not baked but assembled….witch hats. Did these with the grandkids. Super easy using Keebler fudge stripe cookies, Hersheys kisses and some melted chocolate as glue. Just “glue” the kisses to the back side of the cookie

I went to an orchard this morning and got a bag mixed apples seconds. I made 2 apple crumb pies. My parents took one.

I would love to hear what everyone is baking for thanksgiving. I’m canning cranberry orange sauce this morning. I’m baking a blueberry pie, making a chocolate mouse pie and debating making an apple crumb pie.

Edit: I just ran to the orchards for hard and regular apple cider and grabbed a bag of seconds do I’ll be making apple something.

Making....and baking a pumpkin custard with crunchy topping for tomorrow.
DS is taking care of the other pie....not sure if he decided on pecan or lemon meringue.

Today I baked an apple pie from scratch and toll house cookies. Up next is a chocolate cream pie. The only time I bake is for the holidays. My DS is making a maple pecan pie for Thanksgiving. Can't wait for that one!

DW just rustled up a home made spiced fruit loaf

I still have to carve, frost and decorate, but it’s a cinnamon pound cake soaked in simple syrup and filled with cinnamon roll filling. I’m about to make a tan colored cream cheese buttercream and I’ve got some white frosting I’m going to heat up to make it look like cinnamon roll topping icing.

I made a semi homemade apple pie. I used pre made pie crust but made the filling

I also made a Nantucket Pie which is actually not a pie but more of a tart with fresh cranberries and walnuts

Then I made some chocolate covered pretzels and made turkeys out of some of them (saw it online and copied)
