What did we think of TEEN MOM 2?

What about Chelsea's girlfriend (the one going the same beauty school)? I thought she was pregnant in the previous season. No mention of her baby? Maybe I missed something.

I thought so too!

OK, so Joe was a total jerk this week! He is going to be late, but he also wants to ruins Kailyns plans and make her wait around to drop the baby off at exactly the time he decides to show up? I don't think so buddy! What a jerk! IO hope the judge lets her move. I really like Javi, but I don't think she does.

Janelle- I can't even stand watching her. The verbal diarrhea of lies just makes me disgusted every time she speaks. Her new guy was cute and seems very normal, what on earth would he see in her? He was probably using her for 15 min of tv fame. Once you bust out with the " I just got caught with heroin" that would be a date ender for most normal people. There would be no second date for sure.

Chelsea- I like her. I like her so much more without Adam. I was so disappointed to see the way she looked at him and flirted with him in last nights episode. How can she be so stupid? He is a LOSER. He will never be any better and he will never treat her any better. Yet it is clear she would jump back in with him in 2 seconds flat, and he is just going to keep being who is is. I feel like yelling the famous quote " when people show you who they are believe them!" She truly will never learn.

I actually kind of have a tv crush on her dad. I think he's sweet. He enables her and it is not helping. But he does genuinely car4e about her and Aubree, AUbree has a lot of love in her life. And how he has managed to not murder Adam yet shows he has at least some self restraint. I am certain if any guy treated me that way, one chat with my dad and we would still be looking for that guy.

Leah- I no longer like her. All the whoa is me is too much. Jeremy is such a nice guy. Hardworking and a good parent. But so was Corey. Corey and his famely seem like such nice normal people.

My predictions-
Leah is going to cheat and use his job as an excuse. She is a cheater, that is who she is.

Chelsea will continue to hook up with Adam. Nothing will change.

Kailyn- she is going to have a happy family for a little while. I think she has the most potential out of all the girls to be successful. I think she is using Javi.

Janelle- Jail or death in under 3 years.

See I was on Joe's side last night there was nothing wrong with leaving him with Joe's parents until he got there. Thought it was dumb to ask him if Joe is there or is it just grandma, kids have selective hearing and only concentrate on the now. Always asking my kids who came to whatever and they say I can't remember. :lmao:

Jenelle-- will she is always a train wreck. They really need to stop talking about stuff in front of Jace. And to move in with a guy you just met.

Chelsea really wanted more from Adam when they were leaving the school , how sad was that.

Leah -- I can feel for her when she is struggling with her child having to be in a wheel chair but her new husband is right you have to be strong for her. Cory said it best. She is just Ally. They have been dealing with this since birth.

Leah: I felt bad about them having to get a wheelchair all ready.

Janelle: I read that the new baby daddy all ready has a kid that someone else has custody, with this new baby, who are they going to fork that baby over to?

Chelsea: Seriously, she has a histrionic personality disorder, it's like watching Scarlett O Hara in the 21st century.

Kailyn: The thing with Jo, his time is HIS time, not dropping the kid off to hang with the parents and when he gets there he gets to see his kid. He knows and agreed to these times, so it's not a shock. I wouldn't have waited for him either with short notice like that.

I have watched this train wreck since day one but it still draws me in :)

Leah MUST STOP talking about Ali as if she is not in the room. The girls are old enough to understand everything she is saying.

All of the complaining about what Ali can't do, all of the crying about the wheelchair and her diagnosis. Ugh. This is going to create life long insecurity issues for her daughter with the disability and affect the other daughter as well.

I agree 100% with this post. Yes, I am sure it is hard on Leah, no one wants that for their child, but she needs to accept it and try looking on the bright side, focus what Ali CAN do instead of what she CANNOT. Ali will feed off her so it is important for Leah to stay strong and make the best of it

I give Leah a pass. When you find out your child has something wrong, you go through a lot of emotions. We are seeing her processing all of this in the very early stages. Now if she is still crying and all in a year....well then she needs counseling to accept things.

I had tears in my eyes when Jace cried when Janelle left. And then Barbara told him "she has to go". No, no she doesn't have to go at all. She doesn't work or go to school and has all the time in the world to give Jace a little more time.

On a side note, can someone tell me how Janelle drives a car, has a phone, always wearing new clothes with no job? Is it Barbara who pays for it?

As has been mentioned a few times in this thread, they are paid by MTV to appear on the show. I don't know the current details but in 2012 it was reported that each one gets at least $60,000 per season.

Does anyone know about the life expectancy for the type of MD that Ali has?

I have known people with the more common form of MD and I know the life expectancy is often around 30 or early 30s. :(

The Kailynn thing...yes Jo could sue for full custody, just as anyone else could...what does that matter? This is just the reality of situations involving children with parents who are not together. I don't think either parent should be trapped and limited to only living in 1 certain area for 18 yrs of their life. Like it or not, having the financial stability and the family atmosphere of Kail, Javi and kids living together and him being in the military is probably what is best for Isaac. It happens all the time, so I'm not sure why it looks like such an evil thing to do. She's not trying to take him away from Jo, she's just trying to live her life. There are many many kids who live across the country from one parent and they see them over holidays, in the summer etc...I was one of them. It's not ideal, but the ideal situation flew out the window when Jo decided he didn't want to be with Kail anymore, that's just life.
I agree 100%! How many times did Kailyn try and try and try to make Jo want to be a family with her? He made his choice and now she's moving on. Of course it's his right to sue for custody, but the odds aren't in his favor.

Yes I watched.

I feel so sorry for Cory. He is truly in denial about Ally. Not sure why Leah has to buy a farm with horse and so far out. She could just take her riding. She doesn't like being isolated and alone now with Jeremy gone.

Janelle is really moving fast with this guy, I heard she was pregnant and in the previews she told her friend they were thinking about so it was no accident.

Anyone know how long ago this was taped?

Kailyn should be with her family , but I remember when she wouldn't let Isaac go with Joe for a week at a time because she would miss and she couldn't go to Joe's every weekend or something like that. If she moves away she will have to let him go for periods of time and over Christmas as stuff. She is not going to like that.

I think Adam is just doing all this stuff with Aubrey because of his girlfriend that is pregnant. Right now he wants to be involved which is good but I don't think it will last.

Leah doesn't make the smartest choices. That place looked like a LOT of work for a family, let alone a mom of three under four (I believe?), one with challenges, and a husband gone most of the time.

I think Jenelle is around 20 weeks currently.

Kailyn isn't a reasonable person. I'm sure she wishes Jo weren't in the picture, now with her new family. Unfortunately, he is, and he's the boy's dad, and she will have to learn to accept that she must share time, especially since she will be far away. I hate to see how the custody arrangement will work out for Jo once Isaac starts school. But he made his own bed too.

I kind of agree. Leah is going through a range of emotions. She's sad, angry, questioning why this is happening to her child, etc. I totally understand that! I can't imagine what she's going through as the mother of a perfectly healthy child. But...she needs to stop displaying all of those emotions so openly in front of her children, specifically Ali. She needs to "put on a happy face" so to speak when Ali is around and give in to her emotions when she is behind closed doors, whether alone or with her husband. Ali doesn't need to know that her mother doesn't see a bright future for her, or that she is devastated that Ali needs a wheelchair, etc. I hope we are just seeing a snapshot of her visceral reaction to all of this news and that this kind of talk in front of Ali doesn't continue.

I thought the same thing! She doesn't HAVE to go, she WANTS to go! She is a pathetic person. After just having an abortion, she meets a new guy on a freaking dating app, moves in with him, and they decide to try for (and apparently successfully conceives) a baby?!?! What the what? She is such a train wreck. Her poor, poor children. Too bad innocent babies can't pick their parents.

As for the Kailyn/Jo situation, if what Kailyn says is true and the distance from Jo's parents' house to where she would be living with Javi is the same as the distance from his parents' house to his home in Jersey, what's the difference? Especially if he is getting the same amount of time with Isaac. I think Jo really just doesn't want Kailyn to move on and be happy with her new family and is trying to do whatever he can to cause trouble for her.

Not much to say about Chelsea and Adam, since that cycle of getting back together and breaking up is probably long from over. Not really surprising at all. Chelsea's mom though...so dense! Why does she ask questions like "Did Adam say you looked nice?" It's like she's encouraging her daughter to still hold out hope for things to work out with Adam. Makes absolutely no sense to me! I much prefer Randy's blunt attitude about it!! But regardless of that, Aubree is still the cutest!

The producers for all these MTV shows tell the people what questions to ask on camera to spark the proper lively conversation. It's very evident when you'll see someone's 16 year-old friend ask a question like, "so what emotions were you feeling when you saw him with his new girlfriend?" lol. It's not even natural. I'm not saying that's what her mom was doing, but it is one possible excuse.

When Adam was telling his new girlfriend he could not wait for the baby to be born and how if she kept the house clean there would not be any problems.

I feel bad for the new girlfriend he is still a loser.

I watched this show once and felt awful afterwards. I have a real issue with "reality" shows that use children as props for entertainment.

Oh, I know! The 16 & Pregnant episodes are especially bad for that. I'm sure they coach her mom to ask about Adam, but I have to wonder when she asks, "Did Adam say you looked nice?" The conversation they had later out to eat when her mom kept asking about Adam's new baby, I felt like that was definitely a contrived conversation pushed by producers and it pissed Chelsea off.

I saw Kailyn, Javi and both kids at Chuck E. Cheese this weekend when we were there for a birthday party. Isaac is ADORABLE! He and Javi were playing games together while Kailyn was a at table with Lincoln and a friend. No cameras. :) I didn't talk to her or anything because I didn't want to interrupt a family night out. It was strange seeing them there though, knowing I watch them on TV and judge the heck out of them. HAHAHAHAHA

Last nights episode was down right painful to watch. Janelle wanted to have another baby by a man she met 2 months earlier online. She doesn't have rights to her first son but she see's nothing wrong with having another. I tell ya, that girls "driveway" doesn't reach the main road. Not even close. This dude Nathan actually talks down to Barbara, as if he's known her all along. I would love to tell him what he could do with his two cents. Janelle says she's grown, but she has to tell her mom that she's trying to have a baby. She's warped!!!!!

Leah was another one that irked me. She's complaining about her husband working to support her and her daughters. AND she was complaining because her best friend got married and moving away. I'm so tired of hearing how alone and sad she is. She has 3 kids under the age of 3, one is disabled. The LAST thing Leah will EVER be is ALONE!!! She has this annoying way of making everything about her. :sad2:
