You can see my origianl message father down on my post. This reservation has just gotten weirder. I contacted Spirit Airlines just to make sure everything was Ok. I got all of the information from the reservationist and then he told me that I got a great price at 282.50. I explained to him that I only paid 181.50 for the ticket and that I was worried about the difference. He explained that since I had already paid for the ticket, that I should not worry about the difference or Expedia or Spirit asking for the difference since the reservation has already been made and nothing could be done about the price.
I went back to expedia, Friday morning, and the flight is still there , but showing $501 for the fare. Like I have said, I guess it better to be lucky than good, in this case.

By accident, I got on expedia's board and since I was there I checked airfare prices from ORD (chicago ohare) Dec 26 to MCO and MCO to ORD Jan 3. It came up with 181.50 non-stop flight on Spirit Airlines, and I couldn't believe it. The cheapest I had found was like 297 with a connection in New York. When I went to Spirit Airlines web page, it came up with the same flights and times for $636. Instead of paying 318 each way, I am paying $90.75. I was not going to wait or skip this. This is one of those times that you say later, gee I wish I could go back and purchase that fare when I had a chance to.
I guess, I was in the right place at the right time.
