Either the stores are better stocked on these pins or everyone's burned out from the early Saturday mornings of the 100 Years of Dreams pins. Our local TDS was well stocked on the 6 new pins released today.

Best of this lot is definitely Presidents Day -- a very nice looking layered pin for $5.00. The Valentine's Day pin looks good as well.

The only two I didn't buy were the Pooh birthstone and the Return to Neverland poster. I'm not really into the Pooh characters and Amethyst isn't my birthstone, and Peter Pan looks like he's surrounded by a weird green fog. I'm sure the actual poster looks better than the pin-sized version.

What did everyone else think?

Must agree with you there....President's Day is a great pin. My store is already sold out. And the Valentine's Day is my other pick. Those were the only ones I purchased.

From what I've seen and heard, the new Disney Store pins that were supposed to come out on Saturday are worth checking into.
The problem is, our store didn't get any!
I don't think I'm going to collect this series (famous last words!) I'm only going to buy some to use as traders.

The Feb. Tink calendar pin is great. I love Tink and my younger daughter's birthday is Febr.15th. The President's Day is very nice! I couldn't buy the poster pin of Return to Neverland, just didn't like it. My birthday is in January and I didn't buy the Pooh birthstone pin so I didn't buy the Feb one. I figure to buy the 12 Calendar pins and poster pins of the movies I like.

Just a note the pins issued today were behind the counter, not on the rack. No limit.

I, too, liked the President's Day pin and Valentine's Day pin. At 5:30 pm, the store I went to had plenty. They still had all of the first set too, I think. They also had the new sets in boxes, Beauty and the Beast, Return to Neverland, Princess Minnie, 4 Friends, Cinderella II.

The President pin is a really nice looking pin the colors are done very nicely. And second is the Valentine Day pin. I was very pleased with these two pins.

My store had plenty of the new pins, once they put them out. I had to ask where the President's Day & Valentine's Day pins were, and the CM said they weren't releasing them today. I had made a special 1 1/2 hour drive to get them, so I asked politely if she was sure about that. She called someone and in a few minutes appeared with 5 boxes of the new pins. She did not put out the February calendar pin, saying it was not supposed to be out until February.(??) It seems that communication still could be improved within the DS ranks.
There were still some 100 YOM pins on the rack, including #95 Babes in Toyland ( which they originally did not get when released). I picked up a few of # 95, if anyone needs one, as well as # 47 Pocahontas and #78 Peter Pan II. My trades are under "Mainepinpal" on Pinpics if anyone needs to fill some gaps in their DS set. I have some of the HTF pins that I will trade here on the boards or take to WDW in April.

BEING THE BIG MICKEY FAN THAT I AM, I LOVED THE MICKEY PRESIDENT PIN AND THE VALENTINES PIN AND I GUESS I NEED TO HAVE THE CALENDAR PINS TOO.

GOT EXTRAS IF ANYONE NEEDS THEM.

James, we said that about the state pins -- "we're only going to trade for states we've lived in.

This time we're just going to get whatever catches our eye and pass on the ones that don't do anything for us.

I saved the Omaha pin day! After all, they are in such BIG demand here. ;)
I went in shortly after they opened. No other pin people around.
No new pins on that rack. None behind the counter.
The CM manager came form back stage and I asked her about them. She thought they weren't suppose to be out yet. I told her (nicely with a hint of panic ;) ) that I thought they were and that some stores started selling them last week.
She called Lincoln TDS and verified they were suppose to be selling.
So back stage she went and came out with the boxes. :bounce:
Then after I was checking out, I relaized I didn't have the President's Day pin!
So back stage she went and came out with the final box. :D
aaahhhhh.......
I bought some of each. The most I have bought of the new pins yet. I accidently even bought four of teh Olympic Champ. Oh well, traders....
Then I ended up going back for more as a pin favor for a fellow midwesterner.
Other than me and CM's, I'm not sure anyone else here bought any yesterday. We had plenty as of last night.

Oh, and agreement on the Peter Pan poster pin. :p
I bought one. But really thought about returning it. Maybe it will grow on me.

Also picked up the President's Day pin - what a nice design. This week's offerings were really good - the best so far. We are pleased that TDS is offering them at a reasonable price too. Now if only the parks could take the hint!!!

I agree with everyone on the President's Day pin...one of the nicest we've had in a while! I too, liked the Valentine's Day pin. I ended up getting all of them, as I have decided (oh no, not again, says DH), to collect all of the birthstone pins, all of the calender pins, all of the movie release pins, all of the special occasion pins, and all of the Goofy movie poster pins. Gee did I leave anything out? I really didn't care for the Return to Neverland pin, either, but I just couldn't bring myself not to get it to go with the other movie posters. I am such a sucker! At least these pins are only released every other week, and that will give my poor pocketbook a break!

I agree that the President's Day pin is quite attractive, and I also got the Valentine's Day. I'm going to stick with the calendar pins and the holidays, and probably pass on the rest. Unless something really cool comes out.

While the Prez day pin looks really nice, I would believe no one (at least in the US) would want to trade for it as its widely available.

Perhaps are fellow European and Japanese pin traders would love it. (I have some BTW 4 trade).:D
