I apologize in advance that this is my hundredth post asking for advice. We'll be there June 17-22, but our only full days in the park would be Fri., June 18th-Mon., June 21st. Is there a 'better' day to do WOC prem. dining and F! DP? Or should I just each assign them a night early on in our trip (thinking it would be crazy to do both)? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Here is my two cents. June 18 and 19 are SoCal AP blockout days and will be less crowded than June 20 and 21 which are not blocked. Both WOC and Fantasmic will be extra busy on June 20-21. If you have reservations, those are the better nights to see WOC and F! because the parks will otherwise be very busy. Then June 18-19 evenings will be less busy and you can do more in the parks.

However, if it were me I would have a hard time waiting until the final two nights to see the shows. I would probably book one of them on June 18-19 and the other on June 20-21.

At the serious risk of getting overly analytical,;) I would further book one show on June 18 because June 19 is blocked for SoCal and Deluxe AP holders. June 19 will likely be less busy than June 18 which allows DAPs. And between June 20 and 21, Sunday June 20 will probably be worse that June 21 because it is a weekend. However, the lowest level SoCal Select APs are blocked on June 20 but not 21. So that may tilt things towards June 21 being busier. :confused3

Still with me?

Bottom line? If it was me I would book WOC on Fri June 18 and F! on Sun June 20. :goodvibes

Funny....we are there June 19-27 and we are doing both teh dessert plan for fantasmic and have dinner reservations for WoC in AG. Of course we are there a lot longer than you are but I was not going to miss WoC. Sure it might be packed but my party is going there knowing it will be busy and since we have been there so many times before, we have gotten used to teh crowds.

16 more days!!!!

We have the premium dinning for WOC booked for Wed the 23rd. Any ideas on how good or bad THAT particular day will be???? We arrive on the 21st and leave on the 25th so with a grad night thrown in and since we don't ARRIVE till mid day on Monday and have to leave early on Fri our only full days are Tue and wed. Ideas, thoughts??? I am hoping we made the right decision.

We are staying at the grand and are going to do EE on Tue and Thur so I am hoping we can get the most out of our stay and by doing the dinning that we have a decent chance of seeing the show. Crossing fingers!

Hi Cooniez!
As we discovered on another thread, we are going at the exact same time! :woohoo:
We are doing the F! dessert seating on our arrival day, the 17th (after reading HydroGuy's post I realize this wasn't the best plan, but I was just so excited I booked it for the first day! And I called Vacation Planning a month ago so WOC was still up in the air.)
We are doing the Ariel's Grotto dinner seating on 6/18 and going to the first WOC show.
If you end up doing either of those dates we should meet!
I will be wearing my LGMH ~ which I think is just the cutest idea :cutie:

BTW, since I know that the 20th and 21st will be extremely busy we are going to Legoland those days, well at least 1 of those days and maybe both. My boys are Lego fanatics! I'm the Disney fanatic :)

I have heard that the new waterpark at Legoland is a whole day thing--we may have to adjust our schedule now for our trip at the beginning of July. We were just going to do one day at Legoland, but now we may end up doing two so we can have one in the water park.

Oh, good to know! Thanks for posting that. We'll need that extra day and extra clothes! :thumbsup2

This is my "do-over" trip. Last year my mom and I both go sick with a yucky stomach flu and missed most of Legoland (we have been before, though). I was most disappointed I didn’t even get to see SeaLife.

I was hoping you'd post! And yes, after reading it a 2nd time that does make sense  Yes, I probably would be too anxious to wait until the last 2 days.

Yes, I remember you! :) We are arriving on Thursday, June 17th, but I will be coming from a 7-8 hr. drive and picking DH up from E3 @ the LA Convention Center. I'm wary about making reservations for Thur. night because I'm not positive what time we'll arrive at the GCH. I think I'm going to use our 5th day at the park for Tuesday, June 22nd (vs. June 17th) since we'll probably have more time in the parks. I just read a thread this morning that explained lgmh...I was wondering wth those were! lol Yes, will definitely let you know if I book ressies the same nights/times :goodvibes

How do you find out blackout dates?

btw Hydroguy, IDK if you saw my other post to you on the other F! thread, but I was wondering if you and your family decided to do the F! Dessert Package after all. If so, I'm curious what date & time you chose? :goodvibes

We did decide to do it. I do not like to get date specific in public here so I will send you a PM. We are doing the 9PM show. We will show up at about 8PM to get our seats and then head over to ride POTC or Splash or something before the show starts. :)
