What day of the week do you arrive?

We have always arrived on Saturday but this year we arrived on Friday and it was great. We took our time unpacking, ate at the resort and went for a swim.

Having a discussion with a friend about arrival days. One crowd calendar says to avoid MK on Mondays due to most starting their trip at MK on their first day. I say most people arrive on Saturday and will start their trip at MK on Sunday? Which day do you normally Arrive?

So when we are going short we go Sunday through Thursday for better prices on the rooms. You will see a *lot* of people doing those days.

I never actually looked it up but I think monday is the cruise crowd who are leaving port on tuesday.

We always drive, stay at Universal then head over to Disney during the week. This year we will be at Disney Tues-Tues

Usually Sunday like everyone else lol. This year, it's a Tuesday-Tuesday because we're flying this time and I need the cheapest flight days.

We usually arrive Saturday or Sunday. We always go to magic kingdom on Tuesday. We try to follow easywdw as much as possible.

My last few trips to WDW, when I've taken 5 night trips, I arrive on Wednesday afternoon and head home on Monday afternoon.

When I took my week long trips (as I am starting to do again this year), I arrive Monday and leave on Sunday.

We usually arrive on a Sunday afternoon, spend a few hours at Epcot that afternoon/evening and then head back to Epcot for the day on Monday. We go to MK Tuesday or Wednesday to avoid the Monday crowds. We used to always go on Monday because DH felt like he wasn't at Disney until he went to MK. It was always packed. One year I convinced him to *not* go to MK on Monday and when he realized how much less crowded it is later in the week, he no longer feels like we need to start at MK.

This year we'll be arriving on a Monday. We'll do Epcot for a few hours that evening and then hit MK on Tuesday.

For many years, we would leave NY Saturday morning, arrive in Disney World Sunday afternoon, and hit our first park Monday. Last year, we changed things up a bit, leaving NY on a Monday afternoon. The traffic . . . didn't exist, it was the easiest drive I've ever had. We still got into Disney early in the afternoon the next day (Tuesday).

This year, it looks like we will be leaving here on a Thursday, and arriving in Disney on Friday afternoon. Hopefully that works out as well.

We drive and always arrive Sat. morning, so we have two full weekends plus a day or two in the World. We always hop and usually do AK/DHS/DS the first day and MK/EP the next. I don't think we've ever done MK on a Monday.

We don't have a dedicated day of arrival. Arrival day usually depends on flight prices. On our last trip arrival day was a Wednesday, this year it will be a Saturday or Sunday based on my husband's work schedule.

We've arrived on Saturday, we've arrived on Sunday, this time we're arriving on a Monday. Doesn't matter when we arrive, we haven't gone to MK on Sat, Sun, or Mon. We have never started with MK as our first park. On our upcoming trip, we will have been there for 6 days before we even see MK. However, the back end will be loaded with it.
