What day of the week do you arrive?

Having a discussion with a friend about arrival days. One crowd calendar says to avoid MK on Mondays due to most starting their trip at MK on their first day. I say most people arrive on Saturday and will start their trip at MK on Sunday? Which day do you normally Arrive?

I don't claim to know the reasoning behind it, but Mondays at MK are much busier than Sundays!

We always arrive on a Friday to hang at the resort and head down to Disney Springs,, we always start with Animal Kingdom on Saturday as we feel its always less packed. I always feel Magic Kingdom is packed on weekends due to people living in state heading there . i have no proof of it but its my thinking lol!

We've started arriving on Mondays and love the cheaper airfare and hotel costs.

We now do MK on Wednesday/Thursday --- less crowded and much easier to maneuver. Love EPCOT as our first park.

We drive, and we usually arrive on Friday morning. This year, it will be Saturday afternoon, and our trip will be shorter than we like, but it is what it is. MK isn't our favorite park, and we never go there first. Usually we get to it on Tuesday.

Usually Monday since resort rates are less for week nights, in March we will be arriving Sunday late afternoon. Will most likely head over to Epcot first for some F&G knoshing. We will do MK on Monday most likely but only because that was the only day I could get tea ADRs at GF. MK is only a half day park for us so we will meander in around 10, leave around 2 to head over to GF, then back to Epcot that day. We end every day at Epcot except one night per trip cause I have to see Tink fly at least once. Our plans are pretty fluid, I do book 3 FPs per day but we usually only end up using 1 or 2 and we tend to hop all over the place according to our mood.

Saturday afternoons. Last trip our first park was Epcot, dinner at Chefs de France. This time it will be DHS so my husband can work out his Star Wars jones (as well as the next morning) and we will head over to the Boardwalk to eat either before or after.

Back when I was at my old job and had lots of vacation and when we went in January and February We would always travel on thrusday and return the following Sunday
We would hit mk on Sunday now with the new job I don't have as much vacation so we travel Saturday to Sunday and go to mk on Monday last year we went on Saturday afternoon as my fiance had never been and wanted to do the most disney thing she could so first thing in the park over to see mickey and pop the question

This time we will hit epcot for a bit on Saturday as she wants a new hat and she saw one she liked during flower and garden last year and she is hoping to see a simular one this year then mk on Monday and Friday

It depends on my DD's school calendar when our arrival day is. We live 3 hours away so airfare never comes into play. I always avoid MK on Saturday & Monday. Sometimes we will go Friday morning, but will hop somewhere else when the crowds start picking up in the afternoon. Our usual days are Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday.
