Just got a message asking if I could have lunch on Tursday.
I am confused and thought the DIS could help.
Is Tursday Thursday with no "h"?
Or is it Tuesday with an "r" instead of an "e"?
Hmm

, I am certain that she is being sarcastic right? If not might I suggest that you contact the sender of the message and ask him or her to clarify what you said. I will go out on limb to say that you are poking fun at some of what you have been reading lately and just wanted to "troll" around
My first thought was thursday, especially since thursday is tomorrow. But the r and the e are very close, so it could be tuesday.

Um, well, no. Thursday was the say you wrote your responseMy first thought was thursday, especially since thursday is tomorrow. But the r and the e are very close, so it could be tuesday.
and in fact the day the OP started this thread. "Tomorrow", given that condition, would have been Friday (now today).

Reasoning things out, and presuming the OP got the message yesterday (Thursday), it makes sense the sender meant the upcoming Tuesday, May 4; had Thursday (May 6) been the intended day, it's likely - but, admittedly, not absolute - that the word "next" would have been included, to differentiate it from the current/now past Thursday (day of invite).
Clear as mud?![]()
