What day is best to visit a water park?

Does it matter?

So many sites go to great effort to tell you the crowd levels on certain days of the week, but water parks are never included in these estimates.

I think I did read somewhere that weekends tended to be busier, just like all the parks are, for obvious reasons.

I was thinking of doing a water park day though on Sunday, because the weekend we arrive is a marathon weekend, and I think the main marathon day is Sunday, so my concern is that all the parks would be busier than normal that day. I figured avoiding all the parks that Sunday might be a best bet...but now I am reconsidering that assumption.

We're going the last week of April, 2018.

What would you do?

No, it really doesn't matter. Weekends are a bit busier because more locals go, but it's never "packed" like the main parks anyway.

Ok, thanks. I'm thinking of revising our schedule now and doing the water park on a Friday at the end of our trip instead of the beginning. All the main parks had their highest crowd numbers that day, so that leaves the water park for that day by default!

Weekends aren't necessarily the worst days for the theme parks, as those are often travel days for those on week-long stays.

Right now my new reshuffled schedule has Epcot on a Sunday, so hopefully that will work out ok.
